Lynzie Ziehler, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Madison Mullins, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I would want a shorter day with homework rather than a longer day with no homework. I think the shorter day would be beneficial to both student and teacher. The student would have more time for sports and other things. The teacher would have more time for their lesson plane or just to rest. All in all I think the shorter day with more homework would be my personal choice.
Marissa Livesay, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I would get out of school and have more homework. I would go home and do my homework so I have more time to play and get on my phone. I think it would be a little cool to get out of school for no reason.
Mia Franklin, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

If I had to choose between longer school days with no homework an shorter days with lots of homework I’d choose longer days with less homework. I prefer the longer school days because the year would be over faster, the students and me might be able to learn some extra things for next year, and we all would be doing more fun activities. If we had shorter school days sure we get out of school faster but most of us would be struggling to keep up with our grades homework, there would be less summer break, and less field trips. Though there are some good things about the shorter days we would get to see our family more often, I would be able to learn more things outside of school, and you get to sleep in a few more hours. It’s up to you what you prefer. I won’t judge you. There are good and bad things about both. Some a big change and others small.
Micah Perkins, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I would not mind the longer school day but some kids would be getting home at six o’clock. That is the only bad part. I also would not mind the shorter days but we would be doing work just as long as school would be. But if I had to choose one it would be the longer school days.
Seth Cowden, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
