I would rather go to school longer and have no homework.
The reason is because if you chose less school and more homework, when you get
home you won’t get to play that much. This is my opinion on it and why I think
more school and no homework.
McKendra Wallace,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I will rather have to get out early and have more homework.
That is way that we can play longer outside. We can also get to be with family
and friends. This is the best one in my opinion we can do the homework whenever
we want.
Megan Fleenor,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather get out of school early and have more
homework than to stay longer with no homework. I would like getting out early
with homework because you could sit outside and do homework and homework will
be able to get done. You will still get to play because homework can get done.
If you stay later you will get less time to play. So, I would rather get out
early with more homework than to stay longer with no homework.
Miley Stapleton,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
Would I rather have a longer school day and no homework
or a shorter day and more homework? I would probably pick get out early and
have more homework. Because then I would get to play with my brothers more.
Also then if we had more homework that keeps our minds busy. I would also have
more time to practice sports.
Mollie Cantor,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather get out of school early and do more
homework because I would make sure to do my extra homework. I wish school was
like in general it would be fun.
Nathan Shelburne,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
Well if you ask me I would have a longer school day so I
wouldn’t have any homework. The reason why I would do that is because who would
want to have a lot of homework? I wouldn’t because sometimes it’s hard to do. So
that’s what I would do if I had a choice to do that.
Nick Barber, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather get out early because you can do the home
work during rotation and gym. Then you can go home, have fun, and go outside. I
can play star wars and play with your brothers and play with Hot Wheels.
Nick Gailey, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
If I had to pick between going to school longer and
having no homework or getting out early and having more homework I would pick
going to school longer and having no homework. I would pick that because I
would like to spend more time with my friends and then when I got home I could
do whatever I needed to do and not have to do homework first. I honestly don’t
like school that much but I have to come. I don’t like homework. Homework keeps
me from doing what I want and need to do when I get home from school.
Olivia Mitchell,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would have a longer school day because, I can play on
my Nintendo 3DS and then have more school. No homework means more sleep. Also I
don´t have to worry about little siblings getting into things.
Piper Linton, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I think we should get out early and have homework.
Because the only homework I have is math and I use a calculator. So it’s very
easy. I could also do it another day. Or plan b burn it. So in conclusion. I
think we should get out early and have homework!
Randy Litton, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather have a longer school day and no homework.
I love school just because I get to see my friends and my teachers. Longer days
at school sounds bad, but my teachers are amazing. I don´t like homework, so no
homework would be my dream. In math we have homework every day. I hope in the
future that we will have longer days and no homework, because that would be
awesome and amazing. My mom would love this idea, so she doesn’t have to help
me with my homework, so she can watch her TV shows. I love this idea and I
rather have it this way!
Riya Lewis, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
Maybe we should get out of school ten to fifteen minutes
early. Might as well have a little bit more homework. I might have more time to
enjoy nature.
Subrina Eldridge,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather have a longer school day because I like
school and I never have time for homework. I like school because it’s fun, I
like the people who go to this school and who work here. I don’t think seven
hours a day it enough time to get everything done, if we had a longer school
day we would have better grades one our tests, we would not have enough for
home but we would get a good education it is like if you were in collage. I act
too mature for my age I don’t act like a child unless I’m really happy. Most of
the time I take my education seriously, most of my friends complain because I’m
boring. People say school is important, if you’re not good at it a longer
school day might improve your grades so you could be smart enough to be
anything you want when you grow up. Having a longer school day might be the
best decision any one could ever make. You could even go to college, and get a
degree for a job. What would you rather do?
Tawni Toney, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather get out of school early and have more
homework than to get a longer school day and have no homework. I love being at
home and getting out of school early would give me more time at home. I would
still have homework but if it let me be at home on the couch I would be okay
with it. Family time is always needed and getting out of school early would
help with that also. My family could even help me with my homework.
Taylor Epperly,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather have a longer school day with no homework
than get out early and have more homework. I mean I won´t have homework and I
would have a little bit of time. So I could go outside, play video games, I
could just go to sleep, or I could just watch television. Either way it´s a
win, win because you won´t have homework one way. You won´t have as long a
school day the other way. I could really go either way but I prefer longer
school day with no homework. What would you rather have?
Taylor McKnight,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather have a longer School day with no homework
because it will be a little bit longer than doing 20 pages of homework. I mean
20 pages of homework is just weird. I think I will stick with a longer school
day. If this was true I would stay longer at school because it is fun sometimes
at school because you can talk to your friend in class.
Travis Eldridge,
5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather have a longer school day and have no
homework. I like to play games and do other stuff at home. Since I have no
homework I can do those things easier, than having to do homework.
Walker Baker, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
Hi, my name is Wesley Scott. I would rather have a longer
day of school and no homework because you wouldn’t have any homework to do
ever. It would be like heaven to me. This is my own paragraph so why don’t you
write your own?
Wesley Scott, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would rather not pick either go to school longer with
no homework or get out early and have homework. If you think about it you have
to do the work you would of in school if you got out early but you would have
to get the work done in school if you had no homework. So it’s the same thing
just rather choose to do it at home or school. I would understand if you would
want to get it over with but at the same time it’s the same. That’s what I
think and I believe that you can have your own opinion.
Zach Lane, 5th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
I would want to get out of school early and have more homework.
That’s what I would do.
Adam Barber, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather not have school period because it trash
but I would rather have a shorter day and more homework because I do not even
do my homework anyways. So I see why it even matters to all the smart kids. I
want more work because I am smart and I want to be a show off so that is why I
do not care. The end.
Aidan Yeary, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have more homework and get out early,
because it would be like home school because your parents could help you. I
understand it more when my mom/mamaw helps me do my homework. Why I would not
like to stay longer because some kids have sports to do!
Ashton Elliott,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would have a longer day because then I would have band
for a longer period of time. Oh yeah and who in their right mind likes
homework. I mean seriously no one likes homework come on. Sorry got a little
carried away. I’m just saying band is my favorite class.
Benjamin Cope,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a longer school day. Because homework
is boring and you can’t do fun things at home. I would want to do my work in
class.
Cayden Brock, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would like to get out of school early and have lots of
homework instead of have a longer school day, and have no homework. I have grew
up strongly disliking homework and school. If I had a longer school day, I
would probably have nightmares for my entire life.
Dalton Miles, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would choose to go home early and have more homework
where I can play Fortnite with my friend Finn. I would love to go home early if
they gave us a choice someday. That’s why I would love to go home early and
have more homework rather than stay at school.
Damian King, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would want to get out earlier. I wanted to get out
earlier because I do my homework no matter what and I could finish then go play
my games. I would get done at about when school ends then then I can go play my
video games after I do all my homework.
Daniel Sprinkle,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a shorter school day than a longer
school day because we will have more time to play and enjoy being at
home.
Ellis Hammonds,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather get out early with more homework because
you can use google for help. It would be great to have more free time at home
just imagine all the things you could do! Plus we rarely ever have homework
anyways so it would be a waste of time.
Emma Hobbs, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather pick have a longer school day and no
homework because no homework and also you get to see your friends longer at
school that’s probably why I would pick that one I don’t know if I would but
the other one is a shorter school day and lots of homework I would still pick
the first one.
Emma Wright, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a shorter school and homework then
have a longer school day and no home work. I don’t think that it will happen
but I hope I hope it does. But if we go on field trip then I would want a
longer school day and no home work.
Ethan Pennington,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would have less school and more homework because I
never do homework so it doesn’t matter to me.
Faith Arney, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a longer school day because I don’t
like homework. I think I would have more time to play Fortnite.
Finn Grout, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would want a longer school day and no homework. You
would have more time with your friends, have longer in some of your favorite
classes, and you wouldn´t have to spend time doing homework. Instead you could
be at school with your friends! This way when you get home you can just relax
and not have to worry about doing your homework, or get in trouble for not
having your homework.
Gracie Willis,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have shorter school days and more
homework. I you have shorter school days and more homework in the time were
supposed to be at school we can do our homework like we were in school but, in
comfy clothes and in your bed, in your house. That’s my opinion and I hope one
day it actually happens!
Grier Crabtree,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather get out of school early and do more
homework than go to school longer and not have any homework. If we get out
early the time that we are usually in school we could do our homework. So it
would be like a normal school day. I would not want to go to school longer than
I have to.
Hannah Jones, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather stay at school longer because I don’t want
homework because it sucks.
Jacob Childers,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would have shorter days more homework. I would not mind
extra homework. It would not be bad.
Jaden Morell, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would like a shorter school day with more homework. I
don’t really get that much homework anyway, so more would not bother me. That
is what I would rather have.
James Cavins, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would have short days because I’m not really a school
person and when I wake up in the morning I’m tired and stuff. So I would get
out early for my choice I don’t know about no home work because I usually get
mine done in class and if I don’t I usually would do it in some ones else class
if I didn’t get it done in the other class.
Jordan Woodard,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I really don’t like school but I would hate to have more
homework but I do want less hours a day. However I would rather have less
homework and more time in a day it seems simpler. Well that is the end of the
story of homework.
Joseph Honeycutt,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather go home and do homework. Whenever I’m home
it just seems easier because you aren’t in a rush all the time. I don’t like
homework but it is better than staying at school.
Kasey Berry, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a longer school day and no homework.
I dislike homework so I would not want more of it. A longer school day would
mean that your classes would be longer. Some of my classes I do want to be
longer anyways.
Kaydence Seals,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a longer school day and no homework,
because no one likes having lots of homework! I wouldn’t like the longer school
day but if means not having lots of homework, I’ll take the longer school day.
The other people that chose to have a shorter school day and lots of homework,
I feel bad for you having to do lots of homework!
Kaylee Roberts,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have a shorter school day and more homework.
The homework is really easy that they give us. I don’t like school so I would
definitely rather have a shorter day at school!
Kennedy Coleman,
6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
I would rather have longer school days than having less
days and more homework. I do not like homework. I think we do enough work at
school that we should have no homework. That’s my opinion.
Konner Early, 6th,
Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
