A fun day out of school would be the greatest thing ever! A trip to the ocean is what I would want to do. First of all, I would bring five friends, Fletcher, Timmy, Hayden, Cooper, and Bo. We could go to the beach and have lots of fun! Maybe we could bring my dog, but she would make a mess. We would also probably wake the neighbors. This is what a fun day out of school would be like for me.
Isaac McGee, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

If you were out of school you would probably go to a playground. You would be feeling the wind from when you went down the slide. You will also get dizzy from the seesaw. Lastly, your hands will get bruises from the monkey bars. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a fun day out of school to me.
Jack Litton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

If I were to have one day out of school I would go ride my dirt bike. I have a Kawasaki; it is very fast and fun. I would play basketball. I really hope it happens.
Jaxon McLellan, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What would a wonderful fun day out of school be like for me? Let’s find out! I would visit my new neighbors so I can have bike lessons with them. I would also want to go to Dollywood to ride lots of rides! My favorite one is Lemon Twister (I think that’s what it’s called). I love their ice cream! I also would love a pet ferret so I can play with it. That’s what I think a wonderful fun day out of school would be like for me.
Jenna Fields, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Imagine you wake up to the smell of breakfast. Your mom said, “you are going to spend the day with a friend.” You ask if you can go get pedicures, and go to the pool plus have a sleepover with Pazlee. She said “yes.” So you go and get pedicures. It smelled like nail polish. Your nails are beautiful. Pazlee said, “Can we get pizza?” My mom says,” Yes!” What would you do on your day off?
Julia Reeves, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Have you ever been to Pigeon Forge? It would be my number one place to go if I was out of school. I haven’t been to many places in Pigeon Forge, but I have been snow tubing. Dollywood is my favorite place to go to in Pigeon Forge. I would go with my best friend Hayden. I hope you love Pigeon Forge as much as I do, and I love it a lot!
Kale Creech, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

One day off of school is like a dream come true. I love when school is out because I do like sleeping in until 12:00 in the afternoon. Some stuff I do is fun and the other is lazy, like swimming or watching TV on the couch. Off of school is fun and exciting on a hot steaming day or cold freezing day any day off is like a Fairy Tale if you’re out of school.
Kyleigh Mitchell, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Being out of school is good. You could do all kinds of stuff. Do you know what I would do on a fun day out of school? I would spend time with my family. I would stay inside for a little bit. Then I’ll stay outside for a little bit. I like to stay inside most. This is what I would do on a fun day out of school.
Lane Shaffer, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Have you ever been roller skating? If you have, you should know how fun it is! My fun day would be going to a roller skating rink. To make it more fun, I would bring one of my friends. The one thing that I really love about roller skating is that I love to watch people fall! It cracks me up every time! After we roller skate, I would want to go to one of my favorite places to eat. Golden Corral. Golden Corral is my favorite place to eat because they have so much food to choose from! What would your fun day be like out of school? Remember, if you want to have fun, go to somewhere fun!
Lily Egbert, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Aren’t you excited to get out of school? I know I’m excited to get out of school! If I had one day over the summer to do whatever I wanted I’d do some really fun things. As you know summer is on its way so the first thing I would do is get something to cool me off. You guessed it– I would go to Shiver Shack which is shaved ice with flavoring! I normally get the bright red, ice cold Tigers Blood. You have got to try it because it’s so good! After that I would probably go to Just Jump with my friends Lily and Blake. There is so much to do there like dodge ball, rock climbing, and of course trampolines and more! What would you do on your free day of?
Maddie Lester, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

A day out of school is awesome! When I’m out of school, I’m lazy most of the time. But there are a lot of things I do. When I wake up, I usually get up and watch YouTube videos on my TV. I would watch BTS memes mostly. Then, I would check on my Hangouts. I would check on my Wit profile too. Just to see if my favorite person that posts posted a new thing. To people who don’t know what Wit is, it’s an app that lets you post and talk to other people that like K-POP just like you. Then, I would have breakfast. And after that, I’d do a whole loop of that again. Then, have dinner. Then, probably go on Roblox and do the loop again. That’s what I would do on a day off of school in just one day.
Madison Seay, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What would one fun day out of school be like? I myself would probably go to an arcade, or go to a swimming pool, or go to a zoo. Honestly I would probably go to an arcade myself!
Nicolas Reed, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

School’s out and the fun begins. What will you do on this day? I would play video games and go jump on my trampoline. I would also go to the aquatic center too. I would go to Warriors Park and go to eat somewhere like Outback Steakhouse. This is what I would do on a fun off day. What would you do?
Noah Gilliam, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

It would be fun to have a day out of school! What would I do? I would hang out with my friends. I love bonding with people that like the same things I do, like my friend Madison like almost everything I like, so we might hang out. I would also love to go to the arcade with my dad or my mom. It would be nice to have some time with my family or friends. What would you do if you had a school day off, and who would you be with?
Olivia Fraley, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

If it was summer vacation I would play with my friend Kylee and Angela or my neighbors. They are two and five years old. The little girl’s name is Stormy and the boy is Paul. I call him Hasselhoff from a movie. I know it’s funny. I call the little girl Sissy. We would go to the beach every day. There is a lot to look forward to. I wonder what I’ll do for Halloween or my birth day. It’s going to be great. I will love it. I think I’ll sit home and read Big Nate Lives It Up and Big Nate: Great Minds Think Alike. It’s going to be awesome. What do you think I’ll do? What might you do?
Payton Bixler, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What would you do on a day out of school? Sleep in, watch TV, or play a board game? First I would sleep in of course. Then I would play a board game while watching TV with my dog. Then I would have a sleepover with my two best friends Gracie and Rachel. What would you do on your day out of school?
Piper Adams, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Do you like being out of school? I know I do. In fact, I’ll tell you how much fun you can have when you’re out of school. In the morning I get to sleep later. And when I wake up, my dad will have 18 chocolate chip pancakes ready for all of us to eat! After breakfast, I’ll play with my puppy, Charlotte. When it’s lunch, I’ll put on my outfit, and head to Jersey Mikes. After we eat lunch, I’ll go to the Nascar raceway until it’s dinner. For dinner, we’ll eat at Dolly’s Stampede. Then we’ll go home and get ready for bed. And that’s how much fun you can have when you’re out of school.
Reese Hoover, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I enjoy fishing anywhere–in lakes and ponds. In all lakes and other places. Some of my favorites are piers, dams, and boats. I really love bass fishing. Once I caught a ten pound Largemouth bass. Bass look like something out of a fairy tale. They have a rhombus pattern on their sides. They also have a darker tip of the caudal fin (or tail fin). My rod was damaged. The tip was bent downward. The reel was totaled. The gears were ruined. The plastic bell was hot. The closed face was almost broken. So the reel was damaged beyond repair. The bass fought long and hard. It hit almost like I hooked a speeding train. In my opinion these creatures are the sharks of the lake. Why do I catch these fish? Because they are beautiful. That is exactly what I would do on the perfect, hot and sunny summer day.
Ryan Lick, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

You do all kinds of fun things out of school, but I do the most out of anybody in the whole world! I do a hundred million things in one day out of school. I play basketball with my sis, Sydney. I also play tag with my sis, Sydney. There’s all kinds of things you can do in one day, maybe not as much as me but you can still do lots of things in one day out of school. That’s all I do in a day out of school.
Sammi Culhane, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I can’t wait until summer, and it’s only a few weeks away! I’m excited and all, but what am I going to do? One fun day, I will spend it half with my mom and half with my dad! At my mom’s we will all wake up early to go eat breakfast at Dolly’s Stampede, and after the show around 8 o’ clock we will go to Dollywood! Then at 12 o’ clock I’ll get picked up by my dad and his family and we will all go to Ripley’s Aquarium! Then after a long and fun day we will all go to sleep. That is what I would do on a fun day off of school during summer!
Sarah Hilton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

A fun day out of school would be to see my dad. My dad lives in Texas. He moved there when I was 7 years old but now I’m 10. I miss my dad so much. My dream come true would be to see him again. We would do so many fun activities, like go to the movies and go shopping. Now you know what my day out of school would be like.
Sereniti Collins-Holloman, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

So the one thing that I would mostly do is sleep in. Then I would get up and eat a very, very good breakfast. Next watch a few movies, and play video games. Then I would take a nap, then go outside and play. For dinner I would eat Chinese food and go back to bed. That sounds like a good day to me. What about you?
Sharlotte Penix, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

A fun day off would start with a breakfast feast with my family. Then I’d play video games for like an hour. After that I’d spend time with Bo, Fletcher, and Lane. We’d do all kinds of fun stuff like go to Quantum Leap, go to the Aquatic Center, and go to the Pinnacle to watch End Game. Then we’d come home and have a sleepover. That’s what I would do on a fun day off.
Timothy Bonsor, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My dad and I are going to the beach with my grandmother and grandfather this summer break. We are going to stay for two days in a hotel. I think my mother and I are going somewhere this summer break. Summer break is the most fun part of the year. I have lots of fun on summer breaks. Summer break is the best time to get going to the beach! Then when we get to the beach we might jump through the waves. After that we might go to the swimming pool and play more. That will be lots of fun. I really hope it will be.
Titus Hobbs, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

A fun day out of school for me would be playing outside with my friends. We would play tag, do a Nerf war, and maybe we could go to Dollywood. Cooper and I went to Dollywood on the Thursday before Good Friday. His sister went too and my brother went. I got to ride the world’s fastest wooden roller coaster called Lightning Rod. Cooper, his sister, and I rode Drop Line. Cooper, his sister, my brother, and I rode Mystery Mine. We got to ride both water rides but I forgot what they were called. Cooper’s sister rode the second one and rode the first one. We did once out of three times. We also rode Blazing Fury. It had three big drops and at the end there was a popping noise. What would a favorite day out of school be for you?
Trever Keith, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

This was the best day off school ever! For breakfast, my family and I went out to eat. After that it was straight to Dollywood. I rode rides like Tennessee Tornado. That was the best day off school!
Tristan Chapman, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Just imagine, a fun day out of school. Sunshine, friends, and an Icee. I would jump on my trampoline. Jumping so hard that I could feel the sunshine on my face when I jumped. My friend Hayden would come over and play with me. We would play Sims 4 on my Xbox. We would go get Icees. That is what I would do if I had a fun day out of school.
