My most favorite things about my friends is that they’re awesome. I like all of my friends but there are three friends that just speak out. Miley makes me laugh. Johnna is always trying to help me. Riya is so cool. Here’s what I like about each of them. Miley has always made me feel welcome in school and every class we have together is awesome. Johnna is always there when I need her and even if I just need someone to talk to. Riya is always making me laugh and she has always been there for me. What all of my friends have in common is that they always have my back.
Jaycee Parks, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What I like most about all my friends is they help me with problems. They are nice to me and work hard on tests and homework. Most of them play sports like softball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. I also play sports. About all my friends I have met at school. Some of my friends are Taylor, Gracie, Megan, and Aubrey, but I have more. This is what I like about all my friends the most.
Jayme Livesay, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Taylor. He is so cool, nice, and he is really good at basketball. Today I was guarding him in gym and he hit a fader 3-pointer to tie the game. The score was 15 to 15. He is the coolest friend ever. He has good sportsmanship even when he loses a game and that’s why Taylor is my best friend.
John Carter, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I have many friends but I have three close friends. Their names are Jaycee, Aubrey, and Glocklyn. Jaycee and I became close friends this year by Riya. Jaycee’s not like my other friends. She’s really chill and doesn’t like drama like most people. Also she’s always here when I need her and I try to do the same for her too. My friend Glocklyn and I became friends in fourth grade by Olivia. Glocklyn has a sweet personality unless you make her mad but it takes a lot to even do that. Aubrey and I became friends at the beginning of the year. I like Aubrey because she is a really great person to talk to and she likes drama like me. These are the reasons they are my best friends!
Johnna Bledsoe, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What do you like most about your friend? Well, what I like most about my friend is that he is my best friend. My best friend is Taylor. He is in 5th grade with me and is good to me too. We would usually make some jokes on the bus to school if were sitting beside together. Sometimes, I would go to him and say hi. When schools over, I get on the same bus that Taylor rides. But I would prefer to be by myself.
Joseph Horner, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I like my friends the most because they are friendly and caring. The other thing is they are always there for me. The last thing is that my friends are like family.
Joseph Sutphin, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were to write about a friend it would be very hard because I have a lot of friends. I have friends at school and at my gymnastics gym. My friends are very nice and supportive of what I do and don’t make fun of me in any way. My friends are amazing and are with me at all times and help me with any problems. My friends are the best friends ever.
Julia Britton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My friend is Cheyenne. She helps me with my pencils and much more. I help Cheyenne with her things too and we are best friends forever and ever. When I need her she is there. The reason why Cheyenne is my best friend is because when we started school we bumped into each other. We have been friends ever since. We will always be friends forever and ever. I know that she is always going to be my best friend. I will always be there for her forever and ever and we will help each other.
Katelynn Taylor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Glocklyn. She is always there for me when I am mad at someone. She knows more about me than all my other friends. We have never gotten in a fight.
Kennedy Garrett, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Maggie. The thing I like about her most is she’s generous. One time we were going on a church trip and someone didn’t have enough money to go. So, she asked our youth administrator if she could pay for them to go on the trip and they said yes. So she took her money to them and gave it to them. She has done so many other amazing things. She is the best friend I could ever ask for!
Kylah Parsons, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Jacob because he and I listen to music on the bleachers and make each other laugh.
Landon Deirth, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What I like about my friend Randy is that he is kind and helpful. One time I dropped my binder and he helped me pick it up. Also he makes people happy when they are sad. That is why I like Randy as my friend.
Logan Lester, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best two friends are Nick and Matthew. They help me and other friends in need. They don’t do bad stuff. I wish I had more than two. They both are kind. They both could be the best two friends ever.
Markus Wheet, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Nick. What I like about him is he is country. Plus he goes to church with me all the time. I love him very much. He is funny and nice and he is saved.
Matthew Thomas, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

The thing I like most about my friend is that she is very shy but when it comes to her best friends or if you get on her bad side she won’t be afraid to stand up for her friends or herself. The other thing I like about her is that she has a lot of things in common with me and her other friends. She is very clean and she is really funny. Plus she laughs at everything. That is why she is my best friend forever.
McKendra Wallace, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Jayme. The best thing about her is that she is almost exactly like me. It is kind of like we are the same. We both do pageants and stand up for each other. We both really have good grades and we always run into each other. It is a lot of pain. I hope that we will stop doing that.
Megan Fleenor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I have a lot of friends but three are very dear to me. The first one is my mommy she is the greatest friend anyone could ask for. I love her. Mollie is next. She is the kindest person you will ever meet. She is funny, smart, and so, so silly. I love her too. Then, it is Charisa. She is so sweet and sassy. I love her to death also. My friends are the best friends I could ask for. We go through everything together. They make me feel better when I am sad or hurt, share happy moments when we are together, and so much more. I am so glad we are that close. We can’t be mad at each other. I have been friends with Mollie since birth. She is also my cousin. I met Charisa at church and then we went to school together for all these years. I sing at church and do baton with Charisa. I play basketball and softball with Mollie. My mom I do everything with together. I am so, so, so glad God gave me the friends he did. I love them so much.
Miley Stapleton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I have a friend! She cares about me. She keeps me up when I am down. She always has a smile on her face even when she is upset. Some people are friends but we are best friends! She keeps me company. Some people may disagree but I think we’re meant to be. I love my friend with all my heart. You could never take us apart!
Mollie Cantor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Travis is my friend. He and I love to play video games and watch funny videos. We also do a lot of stuff together. Like in gym he and I play dodge ball on a team. That is what I like about my friend Travis.
Nathan Shelburne, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I have a friend and his name is Chase. He is a great friend! The two things I like most about him is he is really funny and nice. We have known each other since we were 2 so that makes our friendship really special. I have a lot of guy friends but he is my favorite. He is my favorite because he is so nice. He is pretty crazy too! If I had to pick between all of my friends he is my probably my best friend.
Olivia Mitchell, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Chloey. She is an awesome friend and a great help when I sometimes need it. I also help her with things. We are BFFs.
Piper Linton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My friend is kin to me on my grandma’s side. Her name is Maddie. What do I like about her? Where to start?! She likes video games. She likes being my friend. This summer I’m going to spend time with her in Roanoke. I have met her in person, I assure that. Her mom and dad work late so she has to go to an afterschool center. I don’t know if I mentioned this earlier but how we stay in touch is through devices. The program quit allowing DEVICES so I hardly ever get to talk to her! So that’s why we usually meet in person! So in conclusion, she’s my best friend.
Randy Litton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend, Bailie is the most amazing person in the world. In 4th grade we did not talk at all; we did not even know each other! We didn’t even have any classes together! Now, we have almost all of our classes together! Bailie and I have played basketball for 2 years together. That is how our friendship started! Bailie is my best friend! She is such a loving person and she cares about you. Bailie is so sweet and could not possibly be any sweeter! She is going to Lee High and I am going to Thomas Walker. That really makes me sad, but we still will be friends! Bailie and I always sit with each other at lunch and we do not like to be separated in our classrooms. In reading class we sit together. She sits in front of me while I sit behind her. If I ever lose Bailie I would be a lost soul. She always has my back and I love her so much! She will always be my best friend.
Riya Lewis, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My friend, Kyla, is an amazing person. She is so nice and caring. We met in the funniest way too. I was walking down the hall to go to the restroom, she was coming out. We fell right into each other. So I just wanted to say she is so wonderful, amazing, courageous, and the funniest person I have ever met. She is always there when my other friends and I get sad, mad, or just need a hug. I just want her to know I am glad to have a friend like her.
Samantha Cavin, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Kiesha and I were friends since we were babies. We love to play and she is the best friend I ever had. She is also my cousin. The main thing our friendship taught me is blood is thicker than water. My cousin Kiesha and I are still friends to this day. We were very close we were very protective over each other. Some people thought we were sisters.
Subrina Eldridge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My friends are supportive and comforting. They can tell when I’m happy, sad, and mad. My friends can always tell when something’s wrong, even when I’m hiding it. My friends always talk when I need to talk; they’re always there. Most of my friends are boys but they are really fun to hang out with too. I love high fives and my friends do too. My friends are irreplaceable. I would give everything to have a friend like that. My best friend is my sister. When we were little we would fight all the time, but a few years ago we started getting along. She’s smart, beautiful, kind, brave, loving, thoughtful, and open to talk to. I can still remember all the times we were laughing. Neither of us could remember why we were so mad when we were kids. I guess it must have been for a small reason. She’s my best friend along with everyone else here. I love my friends because they understand. What is your favorite thing about your friends?
Tawni Toney, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Mollie because she is so sweet and funny. She is always there for you when you need a friend. When you are sad she is there. My other best friend is Bailie because she is so funny and can make you laugh when you are sad and can make you smile on your good days and bad days too. Another one of my friends is Gracie. She was one of my first ever friends. She has always been there for me. These are my best friends and will always be. They are always there for anyone through thick and thin. They never doubt you and always lift you up. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Taylor Bishop, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My friend’s name is Gracie. She is sweet and kind to me, my family, and my other friends. Gracie is picky about what she eats and makes an awesome comedy act (not knowing or trying to be funny) about a topic. Her family is also kind like her and makes me feel like I’m part of their family. Once I was at Dollar General and my mother left me in the car alone with the car doors locked. Gracie’s family pulled in the parking lot and asked me a question that I couldn’t hear. I opened the car door and the car alarm was going nuts. Gracie’s family was not angry at all. Gracie is one of my best friends.
Taylor Epperly, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My best friend is Jace because he is very nice. I met Jace in kindergarten. We were at lunch and I got finished drinking my juice. As soon as I got done he was leaving and saw me throw my straw paper under the table. Then he looked at me and said, “I saw that.” Then we started talking and became friends. There are a lot of qualities that I like about Jace. He is a good video game player. He is also a very good basketball and baseball player. My favorite has to be his sense of humor. Jace is the funniest person I know. That is why Jace is my best friend.
Taylor Mcknight, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I have a lot of friends but I chose to write about my friend Savannah. My friend Savannah is always there when I need her. Savannah and I met when I was about 7 or 8 years old. How we became friends is because my mother and her mother worked at the same place. What I like about Savannah is that I can tell her anything. Savannah and I were friends when I was 7 or 8 years old but we became way closer this school year. Savannah and I are really close friends and I hope it stays that way.
Taylor Shupe, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Nathan is my best friend. He and I met at school. He kind of got on my nerves but I got used to it over the year. We play video games on the weekend and watch funny videos at school. He is a good kid. We get mad at each other every now and then but we are good friends.
Travis Eldridge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
