My friend is Sarah. What I like most about her is that she will try everything to cheer me up and she understands me the most. She’s really funny and nice and has been there for me when I’m going through some stuff. She’s like a sister to me and I love her a lot. We stick together and help each other a lot. She understands me and keeps me company. She’s not only my best friend, she’s family.
Luz Orozco, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

Some things I like about my best friend Ocie is that she is awesome, talented, smart, and kind. If you need help with anything she can help you with anything. She never gives up. She has my back. She is there to make me happy when I’m sad. I chose Ocie because I know that she will be there for me when I need her, through tough times.
Madyson Doss, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My friend is Trent. He and I have been friends since 5th grade. I’m in 7th grade now so two years as friends. The thing I like about Trent is we have each other’s backs. Trent is a very nice person to be friends with. He is probably one of my best friends ever.
Mark Shaffer, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

One of my friends is Bella. Bella and I have just recently met, but we were instantly friends. My favorite thing about Bella is that she doesn’t care who you are as long as you have a nice heart. Even though she is younger than me we get along great. It also helps that we both ride horses together. I can tell this is just the beginning of a long lasting friendship.
Mia King, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My friend is Katelyn. What I like most about Katelyn is that she is very pretty and nice. She also is my cousin. Katelyn has a great personality.
Micah Jessee, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

The things I like most about my friend are she’s crazy, she dances like a crazy person, and we have many things in common like being odd, cheering, playing Fortnite, and our favorite thing is skating. We go skating most every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. And lastly, my best friend’s name is Zoey.
Ocianna Church, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

Aaryanna is my best friend. She helps me when I’m sad. She helps with homework. She’s an amazing friend. She plays softball. I haven’t seen her play, but I’m going to one of her games on Wednesday; it should be fun. We tell each other secrets. Her new boyfriend is one of my friends. His name is Clayton. Aaryanna was shy at the beginning of the year. Her mom and my mom are friends so it’s okay. I was one of the first people to talk to her and we’ve been besties ever since. I love you, Aaryanna.
Ruby Sampson, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My friend Zoey is funny, but what I like most about her is her personality. She is a little twisted sometimes, but mostly bubbly and happy.
Ryleigh Bays, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

What I like most about my friend is that she is an amazing beautiful person and is always there for me. My family treats her like family and we can relate on so many things since we are both Mexican. I am blessed to have such a trustworthy, exciting, beautiful, intelligent, and talented person in my life. The thing I like most about her is how fearless she is. She is the most amazing person I’ve ever met and I don’t ever want to lose her. She has been there for me in my darkest moments and has been gleeful with me in my best moments. Love you, Elena/Luz.
Sarah Trivett, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My best friend in the whole wide world is Zoë. She went to fifth grade with me and then had to move. What I like most about Zoë is that she is very kind, sweet, caring, understanding, funny, fun to be around, and we have a few things in common. We both like dogs, we’re both weird, and we tell each other everything. She has 6 dogs, a pig, 2 ducks (I think), 4 cats, 2 turtles, fish, and a lot of chickens. She also has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. So in her house there are 6 kids, 8 people if you count her dad and stepmom. She will always be my best friend and she is like a sister to me. I love her!
Savannah Peaks, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

So I’m writing about my best friend Hailey. She is my number one and she is the absolute best. She makes me so happy and she is so darn gorgeous. She is super sweet and super kind. She is so beautiful and I would fight for her any day. She is and always will be my Ridgecrest buddy. I love her. She is so talented and so amazing. She’s always there for me no matter what and is just so great. She is an amazing volleyball player. She is a legend and a spectacular friend. She is trustworthy and super smart. We always relate to each other and she is like my sister. I love her so much.
Sofia Rosberg, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

This is a hard decision but I am going to pick Mark. Well, when I moved here in 5th grade Mark was one of the first people that talked to me. Then we got to know each other better so we started playing sports, football and basketball for the most part. The one thing I like about Mark is his competitiveness. When we play we are really competitive, especially in basketball.
Trent Gillum, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My friend Trent has been my little buddy since 5th, but I’ve known him longer than that. Almost every weekend I go to his house or he comes to mine. I’ve heard this phrase, “Cherish them when you can.” I never want to not be friends with him.
Trevor Chapman, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My friend’s name is Quinton. Quinton is a really good guy. He’s into motorcycles, like me, and loves gaming like me. He is a good Fortnite player as well as a good basketball player. What I like most about him is he is a good jokester and a good gamer. Quinton has always been there for me at tough times. He’s helped me with breakups, depression, and helped me in a couple arguments. All I have to say is if you don’t know Quinton yet, meet him; he might just be your friend one day too. Quinton has also taught me how to ride a motorcycle. He got me into motorcycles. So, go meet him if you can. He can be a good guy.
William Couch, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

This friend is special. He has been here for me since day one. We always goof around and get in trouble. We have fun all the time, even in school. That one person is Levi. He watched me box a bee in outfield in baseball and kill it with my hand.
Zander Nelson, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

The friend I’m writing about is Ocianna. Although sometimes we argue, she is still a great friend. She is always energetic and kind to the people around her. My favorite thing about her is that she is always happy and in a good mood.
Zoey Emmert, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My friend Ryleigh is a great friend. I like that she sometimes keeps me from doing stupid things. She is also my hairless cat. Her job will forever be my emotional support animal. Even she thinks I like her brother (which I don’t), but other than that she can be nice, sometimes. She and I also have some shows that we like to reference.
Zoey Weaver, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

Jonesville Middle

What I like most about Olivia is that she is funny. She always makes people laugh and no matter what she can put a smile on your face even when you don’t feel well or you are sad. She also has a good personality. She is always there for you and she will always have your back. She is funny smart and you couldn’t have a better friend and no matter what anyone says about her she is always happy. Olivia is amazing no matter what and if she is your friend you are really lucky.
Adriane Moore, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I would like my friend to be nice and creative and trusting.
Andrew Bigge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I have a friend named Euan, but I like to call him Duck, since when I first met him, (We met on a game.) He was dressed as a duck. It was actually a platypus, but I just call him Duck, since that’s what he likes to be called. My dad actually knows his mom, which I didn’t know before until I heard her name. He also lives in Canada. We sometimes play together (online, of course). So we’re now really good friends!
Ashlee Clasby, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What do you like most about your friend? I have this one best friend and we have known each other for a long time and we would hang out a lot. A new student came and took my best friend away so we had quit being friend´s and we both found a new best friend. My new best friend is Glocklyn. Since that day we have known each other since we were little kids and we had play dates. We had lunch together it was super fun. To this day we are still are best friends.
Aubrey Malle, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could choose one friend to write about it would be my friend Charisa. I admire Charisa because she is kind and sweet. She is always there for you when you need her. She is smart and fun to be around. The thing that I admire most about her is she always tries her best at everything. She tries her hardest to be nice to everyone, which is easy for her. She also tries her hardest at school too. If you ever need help she is always right there. She can literally turn your frown upside down. She can make you happy on your worst day. The thing that I like most about Charisa is that she always tries her best at everything.
Bailie Hughes, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

The thing I like most about my friend Ryan is that I’ve known him the longest than anyone at school. We’ve known each other since day 1 of kindergarten and all the way up to 5th grade. We’ve known each other 6 years. It is the longest I’ve had a friend. It is the longest I’ve ever had a friend either they would have to move or I would. Ryan is one that I’ve known since the beginning of kindergarten.
Brecken Nimety, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What I like about my friend is that he’s smart and funny. I first met him in kindergarten and he still is my friend. We both like video games and YouTube and we are in 5th grade at Jonesville Middle School.
Bryson Kelly, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

One of my best friends is Taylor. We play Fortnite, baseball, and basketball together. Last Saturday we had a baseball game. Bases were loaded and I was batting. I struck out and when I was mad he was the one to help me calm down.
Chandler Skaggs, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

One friend that I admire the most is Riya because she is nice to people and a very good friend. I’ve known Riya since the second grade. Riya sits with me on the bus every day and talks to me when I’m sad and helps me feel happy again. One other friend that I admire most is Bailie because she is nice and very sweet. Bailie has not ever gotten mad at people. Bailie and I have never gotten mad at each other. These are some friends that I admire the most and why.
Charisa Moore, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

One of my best friends is Elijah. He has been my best friend since I was one year old. We met at library school. Elijah has always been very nice and kind to me and everybody around him. Another thing is that he has always been helpful and very supportive of people. Those are the reasons Elijah is my best friend.
Chase Pearce, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Cheyenne Helbert, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My friends are Molly and Miley. I like them as friends because I just want to be friends with them and they help me with stuff I need help with. They talk to me when I have problems and when I am sad or mad or also lonely. They are nice and caring girls. That is why they are my friends.

Elijah Stafford, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

The thing I like about my friend Janna is she is kind, caring, and lots more. She always makes me happy every day. I do have more than one friend but I chose to write about her. I am so glad I have a friend like her. She is the kindest person I have ever met. I could not ask for a better friend.
Glocklyn Morris, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What I like about my friend is that he is funny. We played basketball for a long time and baseball too. The only bad thing is that he goes to Pennington and I go to Jonesville. He went to school with me in St. Charles, and the only time I see him is in a basketball game or at Walmart. I will see him in high school, so that is good.
Grant Howell, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I want to write about my first friend Riya. Riya and I have been friends from Head Start. The reason I am friends with her is because she is really supportive and nice about things. She is helpful and really sporty and that is why I am friends with Riya. My second friend is Chrisea. The reason I am friends with her is because we have been friends from kindergarten and she so nice and supportive. She has good characteristics and she is a champion. The last friend I have is Claira because we have been friends from second grade. The reason why I am friends with Claira is because she is really funny and she likes to talk a lot. Hannah Cowan, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

So I don’t know which one is my best friend but I like Matthew because he’s nice. We’re not friends then we’re friends. It is like a cycle over and over. So on the bus we would hide under a big jacket then go beep. Then we would talk to each other. It’s funny. He moved buses.
Hiram Head, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
