I think animals have thoughts. I think they are wondering what we are. They think why do humans have microwaves, coolers, toilet paper, and tv. They might think we are dangerous. That´s what I think. Animals have thoughts.
Logan Lester, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animal can thinking. I’m think a chickening is thinking it is a chicken. I think birds think they are air planes. Duck with guns think they are army men. Dogs think they are made up of hot dogs!
Markus Wheet, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Animals have thoughts just like we do. They want food, they want water, and a roof over their head. My dog barks when he wants food and water or loved on. His name is Buck Is the best dog. I could ever ask for I know what he barks at my other dogs.
Matthew Willis, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I do think animals do have thoughts like us sometimes. A reason why I think they have thoughts like us is because have you ever told something to a dog and your dog tilts his head it is probably because he is confused. Also have you said something to your cat and they stop out of no were that probably means the cat is trying to think of what you said or trying to understand. There is other ways you can tell of animals having thoughts. Like cats they think cucumbers are dangerous, so when they see it the attack it. So yes I do think animals have as much as thoughts as we do.
McKendra Wallace, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think that animals do have thoughts like people. I think that some animals will think how to get food like I would have to think what I need to eat. Animals have to know what to do so they will have to have some thoughts. They can talk to other animals and they have to think what to say. I think that animals will have thoughts like people.
Megan Fleenor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think that animals do think like we do. I think they are like humans. They take baths, eat, make noises, feed their young, need food to live, and communicate. The reason I think they have thoughts like humans is because you can hear dogs bark to each other and birds chirp at each other. I think one of their thoughts would be when it’s time for their supper they think “I need to go get food.” I think they do think about a lot of things. When a dog sees someone eat it probably thinks, “if you get to eat I should eat.” So that is why I think animals have thoughts like humans.
Miley Stapleton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think that animals have similar thoughts compared to people. Because if they did not think like us how would they know when a car stops you go. Or if they do well they get rewarded. Also if you feed them they wait to you pour it in the bucket all the way. Animals are smarter than we think!
Mollie Cantor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think cows do not have thoughts like people. My dad calls them idiots because they do not listen. I think they are to. My dog is annoying to. It likes to bite people that´s why it’s annoying.
Nathan Shelburne, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals have thoughts like people. I have saw a dog go to the grave yard and sit there for a long time and the other owner was trying to get him off the grave. I never thought of it before. We don`t think of it but it is true watch your animals and you will see. They act a little like us in a way. We need to pay more attention to them.
Nevaeh Washam, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Yes, I do believe animals have thoughts. If they don’t, then how do they know where to go? They would get lost. So when they know where to go they are thinking. Also if they don’t think, how are they going to climb trees?
Nicholas Gailey, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I believe animals think because my dog Bruiser defends me from bad people. Like when this guy was walking up the road the guy said, “Come here to me.” So then my dog chased after him up the road. So yea I think dogs have thoughts like people. Up to this day my dog stills defends me.
Nick Barber, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Yes, I think animals do have thoughts like people. People think about food and I’m sure animals also think about food. I have thoughts about food. I tell my mom to cook me something to eat when I think about food. Animals usually make whatever noise they make when they are hungry. Animals don’t have a person that cooks for them but we can give them whatever they eat.
Olivia Mitchell, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Animals don’t have brains like people, therefore animals don’t have thoughts like people do. Some animals can be trained to think like people but it doesn’t happen by instinct. Animals have small brains compared to a human brain. An animal can teach itself how to eat, drink, or sleep. Animals are mostly friends or allies.
Piper Linton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals have thoughts like people, here’s why. Say for example a dog is looking at a cat. The dog is thinking that the cat may want to play. The cat is thinking that the dog is scary. Then the dog charges head on. The cat curls its back. You’re already going to know that´s going to end badly. So in conclusion I think animals have thoughts too!
Randy Litton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals do have thoughts like humans. Some birds talk like humans, and say things humans would say. Dogs have thoughts too. When we have food in our hands or on our plate they give us big, cute eyes and stare at our food when they want food. Humans also stare at food when they want food. Dogs will rub their hips or head on us and want to get petted. Sometimes humans want to get a massage and get rubbed on their back, and dogs want to get rubbed too. I think animals do have thoughts like humans.
Riya Lewis, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Yes, I do think animals have thoughts like people. Like for instance a fawn crying. When I was seven my mom and I went walking and found a dead doe and followed the sound of a crying fawn to a nearby bush. From my experience when a blue-tailed lizard dies three or four more blue-tails will come and drag it off. If animals did not have thoughts they would not cry or respect their dead.
Ryan Carmony, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals can think like us. Let’s turn to dolphins. It’s not scientifically proven that they can feel emotions like us, but I think they can. I wonder if dolphins think what it would be like stuck in captivity. Those dolphins that are stuck in captivity think what the ocean is like. I know they probably don’t, but I think they do.
Samantha Cavin, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals have thoughts just like people. Also animals have feelings. For example a pet knows if its owner loves him or her. By how the owner treats the pet. This is why I think animals have thoughts and feelings.
Subrina Eldridge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals have thoughts like people because every living species think in some way or form. Yes, I think animals have thoughts like humans. My dog is very intelligent, can open doors with his paws. He has to have a way to know what he is doing, right? We think about math problems and common sense. What’s to say animals don´t think things before they act them out. What do you think?
Tawni Toney, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Do you think animals have thoughts like people do? What are they thinking? I think that animals do have thoughts about stuff. Like say that if you hold a toy in front of them. They probably say in their mind. I will get that toy that is just how animals are. I have a dog his name is Gunner. He loves his toys. He will not hardly bark at all. Unless you take his toys. He is a good dog to me. I love him so much. He is so sweet. He thinks in his mind that if you take his toy. He will get it back from you. That is my opinion.
Taylor Bishop, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I don´t think animals have thoughts like people do. Animals have some human characteristics but, not human thoughts. A few animals might have human thoughts but, most of them don´t. I believe some animals are smaller and don´t have a lot of brain space to carry thoughts.
Taylor Epperly, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals do have the same thoughts as humans. They care about their young. They need to eat drink and sleep. They need shelter. That is why animals think like us.
Taylor McKnight, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals have thoughts just like people. I think this because when I make weird faces around my dog, Honey, she would tilt her head a little like she is confused. When I make those faces she is probably thinking about how I’m acting strange. My dog also loves my uncle so maybe she would be thinking about him sometimes. I really think animals have thoughts.
Taylor Shupe, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals think like humans because how would they understand how to do tricks? Because they have to learn to do that. Humans go to school. Animals do not go to school but if they have good owners they will learn tricks and stuff like that. Animals are good pets if they are trained right. Animals are good pets and bad. Some have good behavior and bad. The ones that have good behavior is because they have been treated right.
Travis Eldridge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals do have thoughts like people. A rooster crows and then more roosters crow. It’s like they are talking. A goose hisses like a snake and sound like they are talking. They are thinking about their food. I like to listen to animals.
Trey Cretors, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think dogs have a lot of thoughts like humans. Dogs probably think like when their owner has a bone in his hand the dog says, “Give it to me!” Then the owner will give the dog the bone then he will chew on it. Then the dog will think he needs some water. Then the dog will drink the water then the owner will wipe the dog’s mouth off.
Walker Baker, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Yes I think some animals have thoughts like people do. Some animals are smarter than some people and some animals are not as bright. Animals can understand people like a special connection or something. Some animals can think the same as some people do. You should be able to write your own thoughts on animals.
Wesley Scott, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I think animals think like humans do because they think about food like we do. I also think animals think like us because they get shy when they see strangers like we do when we see strangers. I also think animals think like us because they like playing around like we do. That’s why I think animals think like we do.
Zach Lane, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

No because the animals haves more things on their minds than humans. That’s what I think.
Adam Barber, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Every animal has feelings—all 8.7 million species of them. They have brains and hearts just like humans. They are probably thinking why are humans so stupid.
Aidan Yeary, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

No I think that animals can have thoughts. But I think they can talk to each other. When dogs get used to stuff like sit, stay, fetch, and all of that. I think that they get used to that noise and do that.
Aiden Troutman, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I do think animals have thoughts like us. They’re probably thinking about chasing their tails and belly rubs and food.
Alicia Spires, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I think that they think more than people. They have all the time in the world. Here is an example. “Do you think that other dog likes me because I like her? Ruff.”
Alivia Collins, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Yes, animals can think like we do if you train them to. They cannot think emotions. Animals cannot cry. But they can get happy and mad. Do you think animals have emotions?
Ashton Elliott, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I think that animals do have thoughts. When my brother holds my cat Leo he thinks, “Let me go, you’re killing me!” When my brother holds my cat Mufasa he thinks “Let me go or I will rip your face off!”
Ben Cope, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I believe animals have thought but not the same as people. I know that pets dream but they dream about finding dog treats and things like that. So if I had to guess my dog probably thinks about getting a new toy or something like that.
Cadence Ely, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Have you ever wondered if animals have thoughts? Well I think they have thoughts because if they did not have thoughts they would not think about anything and be very unaware of their surroundings.
Cassidy Thomas, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I do think that animals have thoughts. They think about what they are going to do later in the day. They think about what they are going to kill so they can eat it.
Cayden Brock, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Some animals are abused. Some animals are not, and some are playful. Although, this is not the case. Have you ever wondered what animals think? Well I have. I wonder, “Is she mad at me? Is she happy?” Is who happy? I have a yorkie-poo puppy named Zoey. She is very playful. I sometimes wonder, “Want to play? Yes. Are you tired? No. Are you hungry? Yes.” My point is, animals have thoughts and feelings just like us humans and they expect to be treated fairly.
Dalton Miles, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Yes they do. They are the same as us. They have all thoughts we do but they just can’t talk.
Daniel Sprinkle, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I think Animals are thinking they could be like about people. I think they are wishing they are people. They wish they get food as we eat.
Devon Langley, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I’m not really sure if animals have thoughts like humans do. They might have thoughts like a human I’m not sure.
Ellis Hammonds, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

It’s nice to think that animals can have thoughts but it might not be too great. Our pets would most likely think about toys or food. Though the animals in shelters is a whole new story. They would most likely have thoughts about a warm and cozy home to stay in.
Emma Hobbs, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I think animals can think like us pigs are actually really smart also dogs are too some people think there really dumb but there actually smart.
Emma Wright, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

I think animals have thoughts. I think so because they need to know how to approach an animal to kill it. I wouldn’t like to be an animal because there are different types of animal seasons.
Ethan Pennington, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones

Yes I think dogs think like us. I think they are just like us, feel just like us, and think like us.
Faith Arney, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Jones
