One thing I am proud of is helping my team win a volleyball game. I had fun playing volleyball. In volleyball whose team hit 25 points first won. My team served and the other team hit it back. I accidentally hit it straight up and another girl hit it over and we won.

I felt proud one time in a basketball game that happened a weak ago. There was 4 more seconds on the score board and one of my team mates got the rebound from the other team and dribbled the ball down the court and did a layup. We won that game by 2 points, which was the first game we won.

I felt proud of myself once because I raised up enough money to buy my own puppy. This happened when I was 9 years old. I was going to churches and cleaning, going to people’s houses and cleaning, and doing yard work. When I finally raised up enough money I rushed to my mom and dad and said mom dad I raised enough money to buy a puppy. They were very proud of me. I was proud of myself. Last year of school in 4th grade. The one thing I was proud of in 4th grade is passing the SOL. I had to pass the math one, reading, and history. Why was I proud? It is because a SOL is the final test you’ll have to take to show that if you know all the things and stuff you learned in that subject. And you have to pass all the SOLs to go to the next grade. But if you fail all of them, you’ll have to stay in the grade you are in right now. And I passed them all so, I go to fifth grade.

I felt proud when I changed my D in math class to a B. My mom and I were so proud that I changed my D to a B. I got 20 dollars for changing my D to a B. Another thing that I am proud of is my family for being there for me and being the best parents that anyone could ask for. THE END

Have you ever been proud of yourself? I am proud of myself for doing gymnastics and still doing normal school. I am proud of that because most kids get home schooled when you’re in gymnastics. Most kids get home schooled because their practices are so long and so many days of the week they struggle in school, but my sister and I still go to normal school. That’s why I’m proud of myself.

I felt proud of myself in 2nd grade because of my friend Cade. I am proud because of making friends. One day I was at school and I saw Cade. He was the new kid in my school. In gym I wanted to go say hi to Cade. When I did I knew he had no friends so I said hi and then we were friends.
Justin Franklin, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What am I proud of? I am proud of my grades right now. I have one B, everything else is an A. Math is my only B. Reading, history, and science are all A’s. My mom tells me she is also proud of my grades. I work very hard for good grades. I study all the time and even listen in class. I normally make good grades on my homework and class work every day. I try hard on everything I do in school and I make good grades. If you try hard you can accomplish anything. I did not think I could ever be so smart but if you have good teachers everything is possible.

I was in Alabama and saw a poor old lady. I had 90 something dollars to spend on anything. I told my mom to go to Walmart so she did. I spent 30 dollars at Walmart. I got her blankets, a tent, food, a flashlight, and some other things. We drove back and told my mom to let me out. I gave her some money to buy her some new clothes. That’s what I am proud of.

One time I felt proud of myself is when I was in the talent show in front of everyone. The reason I felt proud is because I got up there and I didn’t get scared or nothing. I did my best. I didn’t get to go to county but I got first place and I had fun and didn’t get scared. That is all what matters is having fun and trying your best.

A thing that I am proud of is my grades. I have really good grades. I have an A honor roll. I am so blessed to be gifted with education. I love school and hope I continue to love school. Some kids really struggle in school and I am glad I do not have to worry about that. I am so glad I have the grades I do. I got accepted to gifted and talented last year and I was so proud of that. I know not to brag because I could start struggling at any time. I do not ever brag. My dad tells me about how he struggled in school and said he was glad I didn’t have to worry about that. My Aunt Amy was very smart and still is and I think I get it from her.
