My favorite holiday memory was on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve we eat breakfast then we all open presents. But before we open Christmas presents we say what we are thankful for and pray. Once we all get one present we start going nuts. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, especially when we spend time with our family.

My favorite holiday memory is when my family and I put up the Christmas tree because we always get into the Christmas spirit. We turn on Christmas music, dance around, make Christmas cookies, decorate the outside and inside of our house and the reason this is my favorite holiday memory is because I always get to spend it with the people I love!

My favorite holiday memory would be when I wake up in the morning on Christmas with my dog waiting for me to open my gifts. It happens every time on Christmas and let’s just say the wrapping paper becomes its chew toy!

My favorite holiday is Christmas because we all celebrate the birth of baby Jesus. That’s not what other people think of Christmas as, all they think of is “oh today’s Christmas so I get presents and I wonder what they are! Oh my gosh I got this and that, it’s so amazing that they got what I wanted!” well you know what, I don’t think of it that way, I think of it as celebrating Jesus’s birth.

Ding-dong! Hey it’s my Mamaw Jacky and my Papaw Phillip. When they came to visit that day on Christmas my heart exploded with joy. This was their first time coming from Lexington and all the way to Jonesville. They had a lot of presents that evening.

My favorite memory is about Christmas. Opening presents with snow on the ground. We also go to my mamaw’s house to open more presents. Then she will fix her Christmas breakfast. We will come back later for her dinner which feels like a second Thanksgiving. My favorite part is spending time with family and laughing.

Don’t you just love those childhood memories? My favorite is having Thanksgiving dinner. My entire family gets together and we eat. We play games outside and sit around and just talk. My favorite part of the dinner is eating. We have all sorts of foods and it’s really yummy! What’s your favorite holiday memory?

The holidays are a wonderful time. My favorite holiday memory would be Christmas as a child. We used to go to my grandmother’s house and spend time as a family. Everyone would open presents and eat a big dinner. We all enjoyed each other’s company. Then we would go our separate ways with our hearts and stomachs full.

My favorite Christmas memory is when I got my first four-wheeler. I was so happy because that thing would go flying at 52 miles per hour. The reason it is so special is because my uncle gave it to me.

My favorite holiday memory is when my family went trick-or-treating in Norton with my friend Katlen. I hadn’t seen her in 3 years and was very excited to see her and her little brother.

My favorite memory from the holidays is with my poppy. We would always have so much fun with each other. The memory is when we were opening Christmas presents one time, and we gave the wrong presents to each other. We were both like what. Then we just started dying laughing. That is also one of my favorite times with him.

My favorite holiday memory is when we went to my great-grandmother’s house and had Christmas dinner a couple years ago. The food was just delightful and scrumptious in every way. I also enjoyed getting to see my family together celebrating! Overall, it was a terrific time for everyone!

Christmas, one of my family’s favorite holidays. Everyone is putting up lights, wrapping presents, or making Christmas dinner. The one thing I remember most about this holiday is my parents getting me a four-wheeler. I love my parents for getting me this gift, and I treasure this gift.

My favorite holiday has to be on Christmas a few years ago. Everyone woke up at 7 o’clock in the morning, and we opened present. After that, my parents made pancakes, and we spent the rest of the afternoon watching television together. Overall, that was a very pleasant Christmas.

My favorite holiday memory is on the 4th of July. My family and I were shooting off fireworks, and enjoying the barbecue. My uncle put fireworks in their tubes backwards. When they were lit they exploded and busted the pool. It was hysterical. We will never forget that. It will always be my favorite holiday memory.

Jacob Eldridge, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My favorite holiday memory happened on Christmas when I got my computer. It was a great day. We watched movies and ate our dinner like usual. Receiving my computer made it my favorite Christmas I ever had.

Jeffery Hurd, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My favorite holiday memory is gathering around the tree with my family on Christmas morning. We exchanged gifts to each other. Then, we opened the rest of our presents next, I cooked breakfast with a couple of my siblings, and we made a really big mess. We all had fun that day. This is my favorite holiday memory

Sierra Parks, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

Have you ever went sledding on Christmas? Well sledding brings back one of my favorite holiday memories. It was Devin, Daniel, and me all on one sled. The sled was ginormous. We started going down a hill, and then we hit a ramp and I went flying off the sled. Somehow I managed to get run over by the sled.

There are many holiday that are celebrated in the United States. One of those holidays happens to be Christmas. My favorite memory of Christmas is when I looked outside and there was a blanket of white on the ground. I could smell the food being prepared, and my family was happy. I hope I never forget that Christmas Day. It was certainly one in a million!
