My family does lots of things for Independence Day. It is my second favorite holiday, just under Christmas. To start off, we wake up and get ready to go over to my grandparents’ house. Secondly, we arrive at my grandparents’ house and we do some smaller daytime fireworks. My cousin and I play in the front year while the food is being prepared. We will eat in the front yard on a picnic table. When we get done eating we will play a little bit more then we will go to my uncle’s backyard and shoot off fireworks. We do a show probably about thirty minutes long. My family has made this a yearly tradition. We have done this for as long as I can remember. This holiday is very important to me, my family, and many other people in the U.S.A.
