What I will place in a time capsule is my Origin project book, because they will know how we did the Origin Project. We had to write it in your books then we had to type it on the computer. Then we get published in a book and we will feel like authors.
Megan Fleenor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I put something in a time capsule it would be my Bible. I would put my Bible in it because I would want people to remember me by knowing I was a Christian. I hope that someone that was lost picked it up and kept it. I would like to place it in it also because it would be something to find what a Bible looked like now and 20 years from now. I have a KJV Bible. That stands for King James Version. You never know, they could stop making KJV Bibles. I would want at least one in the world. My Bible means a lot to me. I got it for Christmas when I was 4. I have kept up with it a long time. So, if I put something in a time capsule it would be my Bible.
Miley Stapleton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was going to place an item in a time capsule for future students to find it would contain my school pictures, my basketball jersey, my bible, and pictures of my house. I would put my school pictures to show how people dressed. I would put my basketball jersey to show my team. I would put my bible to show my religion. And I would put pictures of my house to show how they are different.
Mollie Cantor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

Nevaeh Washam, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could place anything in a time capsule I would place diamonds and coins for the time capsule. For the future it would be so fun go to a time capsule and find a coin. The students would find lots and lots of diamonds and coins. I think time capsules would be fun to go to because time capsules are things that takes you back in time like a portal.
Nick Barber, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If my school does a time capsule I would put a pair of Ariat boots in it because they are valuable and popular.
Nick Gailey, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was placing something in a time capsule I would put a pair of Stephen Curry shoes. The reason I would put Curry shoes in the time capsule is because I would like for the future students to know what was popular and what I liked to wear. I have a pair of Currys and they are my favorite shoes. Currys in the future could still be popular, but they would probably change. If I put Currys in a time capsule that could show people in the future a new style of shoes that could be really fashionable. That is what I would put in a time capsule for future students to find.
Olivia Mitchell, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

My time capsule would have all my favorite things like a Swiss Roll because we might not have them in the future. Another thing I would put in it is a phone. Then they would know what electronics looked like in 2019. The last thing I would put in the time capsule is a fantasy book, so they could see what fantasy books were like.
Piper Linton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

This is what I’d put in a time capsule. I would place a video game because everybody plays them. I would also place a few Pokémon cards because kids play with them. Then I would place a few action figures because that’s what kids play with. I would also place a few music CDs because everybody loves music. Then I would put a CD of Sponge Bob Square Pants to show kids how cool cartoons are. Last but not least I would place a few plushies because that’s what’s important to me. That’s what I would put in a time capsule.
Randy Litton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I would put newspapers articles, so the students could read the newspapers and find out what happened in that time. Then, I would put movies to show what was trending at the time. I would also put pictures, so they know a little about me. Next, I would put clothes like Gucci and designer clothes because that is what all of the famous people wear. I would put dry erase markers to show the old label design. I love makeup and my favorite brand is Sephora, so I would also put that in the time capsule. Fortnite is a really popular game and I love it. I think I added Fortnite to the time capsule because everybody plays it, and looking back in 30 years would be a huge difference. I would also put a phone, because in 30 years there is going to be a phone that is crazy! The brand Samsung is coming out with a phone that is going to be flexible! I think these ideas would be great to put in a time capsule!
Riya Lewis, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If we made a time capsule I would put pictures of cars or computers in it. My idea is in pictures because you can’t put a car or a computer in a time capsule so you can put pictures in it. Years from now somebody will be able to see what the cars or computers were like.
Ryan Carmony, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could place something in a time capsule it would be pictures of our classes and some music. I would also put in fidget spinners and some slime. I would put pictures of our classes because I want them to know who walked their grounds. I would put music because I want them to know what we listened to in 2019. I would put fidget spinners because everyone loved them. I would put slime because I want them to know what’s trending. That’s what I would put in a capsule.
Samantha Cavin, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What I would put in a time capsule would be a lot of pictures of what 2019 looked like. So they would see how fun it was. Maybe pictures of 4-H camp.
Subrina Eldridge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I placed something in a time capsule for the future students to find I would put pictures with a name of every student and teacher from 2019. It would say a little more about that person in the picture. Also, popular books from this year, like an old fairy tale from an old book. The author can be remembered by his/her name and picture. I think putting pictures of the town and what places were here years ago. Famous people from today can be remembered by their music. That’s what I would put in a time capsule. What would you put in a time capsule?
Tawni Toney, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could place something in a time capsule, it would be a picture of Jonesville Middle school. So if it ever changed somebody would have a picture of it from the past. I love Jonesville Middle School. It is the best school ever. Also it is my favorite school out of all the schools. Once it was a high school now it is a middle school but someday it might be a high school again and that is what I would put in a time capsule.
Taylor Bishop, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I put something in a time capsule for future students to find I would put newspapers and news recordings in the time capsule. It would show what happened in this time period. The newspapers and news recordings would show both historic times and our difficulties. It would show our weather and storms that we have had. I believe they would be great artifacts!
Taylor Epperly, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could put something in a time capsule I would put a basketball and a video of what life is like right now. There could be a different way of playing basketball. A different way of transportation. A different way to build houses or even a different way of school systems. Would you like to put something in a time capsule? I would.
Taylor McKnight, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I left anything in a time capsule it would be a newspaper. I chose a newspaper because they have a lot of information about what is going on at that time. I think leaving time capsules are really cool. I think they’re cool because whatever you leave someone will probably find. Maybe I will make one and thirty years from now a complete stranger finds it and I will make a new friend.
Taylor Shupe, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I made a time capsule I would put a little letter about Trump’ wall that he plans on building in the future, probably 5 years maybe. I would put this in there because he might make a war between us and Mexico and the government shut down because the wall was 5 million dollars.
Travis Eldridge, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

What I would place in the time capsule would be Isaiah’s helmet from Isaiah’s injury in 2016. Isaiah is better form the injury. I have been to each hospital. I am glad Isaiah is better.
Trey Cretors, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I would probably put football cards in it. I have a lot of rare ones like Malik Monk, Tom Brady, and even Rob Gronkowski. I bet I have the whole Patriots team. I´m pretty sure over the years I have had over 300 football cards.
Walker Baker, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
