To be honest, I have no idea. The world could be taken over by robots. War could come. Kids could be even more hooked on their electronics. The world could end or, just maybe, Boone Lake would be back to normal.
Katelyn Jones, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think that children have to put little to no effort in life because technology practically would live their lives for them. I think they’ll be lazy and extremely inactive and probably a bit heavy set. I think their lives will be much easier because of robots and technology and whatever advances come in the future. I think their life would be very dull and boring because their life would be surrounded by technology.
Levi Price, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think one hundred years from now kids in school will have personal laptops that they use for all classes, so they do not have to keep up with pencils. Art classes will use drawing tablets with pens. Kids outside of school would have more advanced video games and hover boards would be something every child has.
Luke Dickerson, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

Kids 100 years in the future will probably be using electronics for everything. They probably won’t know what paper and pencil are. Their food will probably be delivered with just one touch on the screen. There will also be robots doing jobs of what people do.
Luz Orozco, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

One hundred years from now kids will most likely have bigger schools. They will be our great – great-grandchildren. They will not learn the same information and have better technology. Students will be taught by teachers still. One hundred years from now I would be 114 so I’m not going to be a teacher.
Mark Shaffer, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think life for kids 100 years in the future will be technology-filled. Compared to 100 years ago from today there wasn’t even a close amount of technology as there is today, so I think there will be even more technology in the future. Jobs such as teaching, driving, and even hairstyling will be performed by robots. Kids in the future will think this is normal and they won’t even imagine life without technology—almost like kids today do.
Mia King, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

What I think it will be like 100 years in the future for kids is that technology will be an everyday thing. What I mean by an everyday thing is there will be no public school, just school at home and all on computers. And if there were to be public school it would still all be on computers. Another thing is in 100 years technology may not exist and school and things will be paper, pen, or pencil.
Micah Jessee, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I believe that kids would have their head stuck in some type of electronic device. I think this because most kids now would rather be playing on their phone, Xbox, etc. If it’s bad now it’s just going to get worse.
Ocianna Church, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think life will be harder for kids because things will be more expensive. I think parents should teach their kids about how to handle the house payments, light and water payments, etc. Technology will be more advanced in the future. I think everything will be on the internet and not on pencil and paper. Life for kids 100 years from now will be a whole lot different.
Quinton Chapman, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

In 2019 we came up with so much new technology so like, in 3018 we could have newer technology or we could travel back to the ‘80s, ‘70s, so on and so forth. But I think we will have robots in homes, fences that retract cars that float, and homes that fly. We could have so much it’s actually quite funny if you think about it. I hope I can live to see the day when robots are introduced. I’m 13 now so in 2119 I should be in my hundreds. So that’s good, I guess.
Ruby Sampson, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think life for kids 100 years in the future will probably be like it is today with more and better technology than there is today. They might not even have pencil and paper.
Ryleigh Bays, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

My idea of what life will be like in 100 years for children is they would all go to online schooling. Some kids today already take online schooling so that they can be on their bed all day or go away from bullying. As the years pass people get ruder and kids become lazier. The effect of that is kids wanting to just stay at home in their beds and not talk to anyone. This is what I think life for kids will be like in 100 years.
Sarah Trivett, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think that there will be better phones or just better technology in general. Schools will have different or brighter colors.
Savannah Peaks, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

There wouldn’t be any because the world would have most likely ended by then. There are so many possibilities! Robots take over, asteroids, global warming, maybe even zombies! Nobody actually knows if the Earth will last 100 more years. Our planet is so affected by us and nobody even tries to help it. Before we know it the world is going to end and it’s all our fault.
Sofia Rosberg, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

One hundred years into the future for kids would be way different. Their schools would be updated and most likely have robot teachers. It will be very technologically advanced. We mostly use paper and pencil for work but they would probably use technology for everything. Everything 100 years from now would most likely be made out of a different material.
Trent Gillum, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think life for kids 100 years in the future would be like a lot of technology, having better software, better learning, better history, and better video games. The reason why I think this will be the life for kids in the future is because technology is growing fast. We have better phones, better computers, better TVs, better Xboxes, etc. That means technology can really come together in 100 years from now. That’s the reason why I think there would be better technology. Another thing that might change is transport. The reasoning I think transport can change is in 1995 they didn’t have all the electronic computers or back up cameras. Then look at 2019 where we have all this new technology in our vehicles like cruise control, back up cameras, and electronic radios—not like back then. This all happened in 24 years. Now think 100 years. That’s why I think transport will change.
William Couch, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think in 100 years there will be no kids. The reason is there will be robots that take over the world. The robots will become stronger and more advanced so there will be no humans.
Zander Nelson, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think that life for kids would be horrible in 100 years. The world would be taken over by robots and kids would be attached. It would soon get too powerful and all just slowly stop working. Then what would children do when that thing that’s controlled their whole life is gone? They wouldn’t know what to do.
Zoey Emmert, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I think it will be like an apocalypse terrain. The kids will have to adapt and become smart in survival skills instead of in school as if it wasn’t important. The grownups will have probably gone insane due to overthinking the common sense of survival. But, as in human nature they will probably smother their kids like all parents do if anything could put them in danger. So kids will have to be smart, savvy, and non-apologetic.
Zoey Weaver, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

Hilton Elementary

Kids will have unicorns in 100 years.
Emmalin Bruner, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary, Ms. Howe

In 100 years kids will be princesses.
Madelynne Hinkle, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary, Ms. Howe

In 100 years kids will drive real Ford trucks.
Owen Lane, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary, Ms. Howe

In 100 years kids will not have beds anymore. They will sleep on the floor with pillows and blankets.
Sophia Davis, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary, Ms. Howe

In 100 years kids will have pizza.
Timothy Nelson, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary, Ms. Howe

I think it will be like paradise in the future because some people have been there so they should know what it is like. Actually, nobody knows really because nobody has been to the future so how do we know what it is like? So I don’t know what paradise is like. I wonder what it will be like in the future. That is what I think about the future.
Anna Brinegar, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

In 100 years I think that kids will be different. I think they will have different clothes. I think there would be new types of animals in 100 years. I think there would be robots in 100 years. These are the reasons why I picked in 100 years for kids would be different.
Bryson Hughes, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

I think that 100 years from now, kids will be very different from the way they are now. They will be different because they will have a robot maid. They will also have floating phones and tablets. I think they will have different clothes and shoes. The clothes and shoes, they would look like a very fancy garden. This is what I think will happen 100 years from now.
Hailey Hagy, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

This is what I would think kids would do 100 years in the future. I think there will be buses that can drive themselves. Also, cars that can have little jet packs so they can fly and kids can drive them. The trucks will be able to be driven upside down. Little kids won’t have to buckle themselves. It will buckle automatically. This is what I think kids 100 years in the future will be doing.
Isabella McMurray, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

I think it would be weird. I think the kids would be 100 years old from 100 years in the future. The kids would be driving different cars. I think a Beetle would be good for a kid. They would be wearing different clothes. These are the reasons I think it would be weird.
Kayllen Lane, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

I think 100 years later for future kids, life will be amazing. I think in 100 years there will be flying cars. There will also be flying buildings. There will be robots to help. There will be amazing animals too. That’s what I think the future will look like.
Maddie Watts, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

I think that life 100 years in the future for kids, it would be like the world’s best time! It would probably be because there would be flying cars. It would be awesome. There could be cyber tech. I would love to have the tech they would have in the future. It would be nice. They would have new recipes too! I would like to see my new outfits, but I might not live to 108. It would be nice to try. That’s what I think it would be like 100 years in the future.
McKenna Bentley, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

I think in 100 years there will be floating parks for kids. I think there will be floating parks because they can fly and play. They can press a button and it will float. They can go down the slide and there will be pillows at the bottom. That’s why I think there will be floating parks 100 years in the future.
Reese Stallard, 2nd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Edwards

Miller Perry Elementary

I think that kids in 100 years will not take the bus. They will teleport to school. Kids will have a decision, they can go to school or not. Kids will be so different from us kids in 2019. What do you think the future will be like?
Abigail Berry, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What will life be like in 100 years from now? I do not know what their clothes will be like. I am sure it will be amazing. That is what I believe anyway and I am sure it will be great. So what do you think?
Annie Walker, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I bet you the future will be very different from now. From transportation to families. There are many possibilities. First, I think transportation will be very different. Flying cars, cars that can drive on water, and cars that can drive a million miles per second! Second, I think food will change. There could be edible holograms, you never know! Third, I think schools worldwide will change! Instead of taking boring classes for almost a decade, students might have a computer chip implanted in their head. It may sound far-fetched but it could happen. I guess we’ll have to wait a century to find out!
Ashton Templeton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I think toys will be crazy like a really big stuffed animals or something fun and I think apps on phones will be fun. Like a makeup app, it will tell you if your makeup is messed up. Toys are fun today but 100 years from now toys will be crazy and fun. What do you think apps and toys will be like 100 years from now?
Bella Fergison, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

In my opinion I think kids 100 years in the future will have a lot of different things in a hundred years. I think the toys will have an upgrade. I would even like to see what hover boards will be like in the future. I also think that sports will change. Phones will probably have a huge difference. I think that they will be spoiled. That’s what I think, what about you?
Blake Frazier, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What do you think life for kids will be like? I think it will be much different 100 years in the future and I’m here to tell you some of the many things that will change. Transportation would be one thing that comes to mind when you think about what will change in 100 years. In 100 years there will probably be hover cars, hover bikes, and a teleportation machine. Another thing that comes to mind is technology. I think in 100 years there will probably be a PS2000 instead of a PS4 and instead of brushing your teeth and doing your hair there will probably be a machine that does that for you. I love trying new food so I hope new food will come out in 100 years. I hope to see Chocolate Chip Pringles; that would be the best. If all of that happens I hope even more to be alive in 100 years.
Bo Burdine, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers
