Jonesville Middle

If I was in charge of the whole world to make it a better place I would make everyone equal and give all the poor people food and clothes and a good home. I would make everyone equal because some people will see someone different and think they are strange but we all are humans and we all are a little weird sometimes. You should not judge others for the way they look or act. I would give the poor food , clothes, and a house because it is cruel to let someone starve or freeze just because they have less money than us. We should help them if they need it. They deserve it, they have been through a lot. I hope this happens in the future.
Adriane Moore, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world I would make it happy by giving everybody a house and some cash then help them get a job throughout school. But then they have to find their own job. Then I would get a homeless person a home, some cash, and food stamps so they can eat and drink something. I would give them some clothes and socks, tennis shoes, and a job too. That is how I would make the world happy.
Aleisha Jones, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could make the world a better place I would do different things. First, I would get people to stop using their cars because it causes pollution. Next, I would use less paper, so we could have more trees. After that I would tell people to ride their bikes to school or walk if you lived in town. Last but not least the best one yet that would make the whole entire world a lot happier–no school or work or anything on Mondays! No one likes going to work or school after a short weekend. So why not just not go? That is just a few things you could do to make the world a better and happier place!
Bailie Hughes, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world I would make it a better place by telling people not to litter. If you litter it is a 2,000,000,000 dollar fine. If you do not pay the fine you go to jail for 20 years. If you litter you are hurting the community. If you throw your trash in the water you are hurting the fish and it may kill them. If you throw a glass bottle on the side of the road the wind can blow it over on the road and someone can run over it and get a flat tire. This is how I will make the world a better place.
Braylen Pendergraft, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the whole world I would make taxes illegal, give more food out to people who can’t get it, and make more homeless shelters for people who don’t have homes. Things like those listed above are happening all over especially in places like New York or any other city. That’s why if I were in charge of the world I would try my best to help everyone.
Brecken Nimety, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world and wanted to make it a happier place I would make all lottery tickets free. That way everybody can win some money. Homeless people can win them some money and buy them some food, clothes, and maybe rent a apartment. If the people that make the lottery tickets don’t want to work I will have a talk with them and then I will triple their salary if they make more lottery tickets. This solves the homeless people’s problems.
Brycen Coomer, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I would make it a more peaceful place. There would be no arguments about politics. It would be a better place don’t you think? Just imagine watching the news and there is no drama going on. The world would be a much better place.
Cameron Mosley, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world I would stop logging. I would stop logging because it hurts our environment. Deer can’t eat and owls can’t fly in the trees. They are just destroying their habitat so they need to stop. One other thing that I would do is stop bullying, because people are bullying other kids and it hurts them and I would stop them from hurting other kids. This is what I would do and why.
Charisa Moore, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the whole world I would lower the prices of stuff so people can afford it. Another thing I would do is I would give everybody a home so they do not have to live in a bad home. One other thing I would do is that I would find a cure for cancer. The last thing I would do is stop world hunger. Those are the things I would do if I was in charge of the whole world.
Chase Pearce, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If a was in charge of the whole world, I would stand up to stop bullying. Bullying is the worst thing ever. Nobody likes it and I hope it stops because we want it to end. And anyone who thinks bullying is cool–IT’S NOT and nobody likes it so just stop bullying.
Chase Weston, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the whole world I would give clothes that have cotton because some people are allergic to some things. I also would cure people that are sick because some people need it. Also there’s animals that are dying and I think it is sad and I want to help them and they can do much more than you think. I want to save them.
Chloey Parks, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If had control of this world there would not be any electronics. We would have to live country still and have a great peace and have great time with family without phones and electronics nearby.
Collyn Neff, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world this is how would I make it a happier place. I would get rid of all drugs, alcoholic beverages, and war. Another way is I would help the poor. This is how I would make the world a happier place.
Elijah Stafford, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world I would help the poor, I would give money to the hospital, and a lot more stuff. If I was in charge of the world I would help with the stuff that people need. I would create a lot of inventions to help the world for hard stuff. I like to help the world with a lot of stuff.
Hannah Cowan, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could be the ruler of the world I would not know actually how to start, but I think I would try to get all the mean people in jail so a lot of people will be happy. I would get all the trash and smoke air pollution in the world out of here. I will build me a castle around the world, so people can live better. I will give everybody in the whole world like $500,000,000.
Hiram Head, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the whole world I would make the world a better place by passing recycling laws. If there were recycling laws the water wouldn’t be as polluted as it is now and fish wouldn’t die from trash. Also if we recycle the ozone layer wont break as fast. So I think recycling laws would make the world a better place.
Jace Keene, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the world I would make everything recyclable because it drives me crazy too see trash everywhere. When I go too the creek I don’t go to see trash floating in the water, I go to see fish and other animals. A year ago I went to Dry Creek with my cousins too cool off and when we were leaving we found a syringe and haven’t been back since. People do not understand that they are not just killing animals but they are slowly killing people as well.
James Carmony, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world I would make it a happier place. I would stop animal abuse, wild fire, pollution, and help zoos provide food for animals. People have abused animals for years. They have threatened to shoot them if they do something wrong. Wild fires have made very big problems all around the world. Pollution effects the water we drink and kills the fish and other animals in the sea. Zoos sometimes have to put animals down because they eat too much and don’t have much food to feed them.
Jayme Livesay, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the world what would I do to make it a happier place? I would remodel the schools to make it a happier and comfier place for teachers and students. Redo stores to make them cleaner and neater for the world. Have a clean up day for every month to pick up trash off the streets, parking lots, and ditches so clean water can run through without getting polluted, and even at the beach. Also Plant a Tree Day every year when everybody in the world takes their time to plant a tree. Also safer bank accounts. No one will be happy if someone steals their money. That’s all their work in a couple pieces of paper. This is how I would make the world a better, happier, and cleaner environment for everyone in the world, even animals.
Johnna Bledsoe, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the whole world what would I do to make it a happier place? Well. The world is already a happy place. If I add in anything in the world, it probably would have some negative affects. For example, a time machine that transports you all the way to Hawaii. When you press the button, it’ll take you back in time instead of taking you to Hawaii.
Joseph Horner, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the whole world, to make it a better place I would do tons of things. First I would make homes for the homeless and give them some money so they can buy food or clothes. I would make a group of people to help clean trash or litter in the lakes or by the road. I would also give money to the schools, hospitals, and just people that need it. I would try to make the whole world a better place.
Julia Britton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the world, to make it a better place I would make people walk. You pollute the world when you drive a car and you can get very unhealthy if you don’t walk so therefore you need to walk. If you walk you save yourself and our environment. It can be a win win situation if we all start walking. Karl Benz is the man who invented the first car in 1885 and now none of us will ever walk again, unless I’m in charge.
Justina Lowder, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the whole world, I would make sure that everyone is happy. I would take the phones away from everybody so they can spend time with their family. I will declare that we can stay at school forever and ever. I would also have everyone sleep in the gym forever so they can get to know each other and their teachers. They can get to know that they can work together as one and that’s how I want to make sure that the world can be a better place. I would even make sure that no one will be bullied at school and I would help kids that are poor. That is how I would help the world to be a better place.
Katelynn Taylor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the whole world. I would make everyone be nice and kind to each other. Our world is bad. People treat people badly and call them bad names. Kids even call other kids names and it leads to bullying.
Kennedy Garrett, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the whole world, to make it a happier place I would go around to all the homeless people in the world and give them money and help them out. In my church right now we are sponsoring a homeless child. We’ve done some research and there are over 500,000,000 homeless children in the world. We also found out that there are enough homeless children in Virginia to fill up all of Norton and half of Wise. I think it’s so sad and if I were to give money to every homeless person in the world it would be a much happier place. I wouldn’t even want a reward. Seeing the smile on their faces would be enough of a reward for me!
Kylah Parsons, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the world and I had to make it a better place I would take the government’s money. I would give that money to kids and adults who have cancer and that are sick. I think it is unfair to them because they don’t get to do the things we get to do. That is how I would make the world a better place.
Logan Lester, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

I would make sure the whole world is clean. The poor would be fed, get baths, and more. Animals would be clean. The poor would have schools. There would be no drugs. No one would be smoking. People would have jobs.
Markus Wheet, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge of the whole world I would make a day called Positive Day. Positive Day it would include cleaning up trash, helping animals that are on the street starving and dying, and spending time with your own animals. Other things that we would do on Positive Day is help homeless people and give them some food and some money, and at the end of the day we would have a huge picnic and feed everyone, even the animals.
McKendra Wallace, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the world I would make all people big and small be nice. I would make them stop bullying. Bullying is a big deal these days. Littering is another. If you throw your trash away other people would not have to pick it up. Why are people are not nice? I do not know. Why can’t you be nice for once? Why? People who are older or bigger think they can do what they want. You are the same as people younger than you and smaller than you. Just be nice. So, if I were in charge of the world I would make people be nice and pick up their trash.
Miley Stapleton, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I was in charge I would make it a happier place by removing all cell phones, flip phones, all phones! People don’t realize what they could do! Go in the woods, play with your brothers, sisters, or friends. There’s more to life than phones and internet!
Mollie Cantor, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the world I would make it better. The reason I say that is because I would help the homeless people so that they would have somewhere to sleep. That’s what I would do if I could take control of the world.
Nick Barber, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I were in charge of the whole world I would make car prices lower then they are now and I would make no schools so you will learn online.
Nick Gailey, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin

If I could make the world a better place I would go all around and teach everybody in the world about the word of God. I am a Christian and I do believe in God and I would like everyone to know about him. I am sure I would probably get killed somewhere but I would die talking about God. I think that people are crazy and most of them probably don’t believe in God. I would not really be a preacher but just a person to talk about God. I think if everybody knew how great He is they might just calm down and the world would be great.
Olivia Mitchell, 5th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Austin
