I am writing about my pet guinea pig. Her name is Elsa. She is weird because she always hides. She also eats a lot of hay. Her claws are as sharp as a knife and if you get too close she will bite you. But she is sweet and sometimes, nice. We keep her in a cage in my room so she won’t run away. We never get her out though because she hides in her house. I love Elsa because she’s so soft and a great pet.

I have a pet cat named Ruth. She is playful, but she can be a little mean as she plays. Ruth is cute when she is asleep, but when she wakes up she is exhausting. She has very beautiful fur. It is orange, black, and white. Ruth is the best pet and that’s why I love her.

My cat Junebug is a playful cat. He sleeps with me at night. I throw him a ball and he gets it. He jumps off the wall and chases me because he is very energetic. I am glad he is my pet.
Dylan Carter, 3rd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Crawford

Ruff, ruff! Is the sound of my dog Sammy. He’s a dog but a little rat. Adorable is what he is! Sammy is very hyper and playful. This is why I love my dog Sammy.
Luke McConnell, 3rd, Hilton Elementary, Mrs. Crawford

If I had to choose one pet to write about I would write about my dog Archie. When we take him outside he will try and chase cars. When I walk him around he tries to go to our neighbors’ house to see their dog Charlies. If I do walk him around he will run and I will trip. Sometimes if we leave the door open he will try and run away. That’s why I wrote about my fuzzy dog.

I don’t know what my cats are.

I have two dogs. One is a lab and the other one is a cocker spaniel. The lab I have had for four years, and he is a black lab. We got the cocker spaniel a few weeks ago. He is a blonde. The reason we got the lab was because we were going to train him to be a bird dog, but that did not work out too well. We got the cocker spaniel because Mom really wanted an inside dog.

I have two pet dogs. My first dog’s name is Munchkin. She is a wiener dog. She is an old dog but she is super cute. She has really bad breath but I love her so much. My other dog’s name is Sweetie. She is also an old dog. She has a tumor in her stomach. She is a really crazy dog. She loves to cuddle with you. She is my favorite dog. I love her so much. She is a blue tick hound.

I have two pets. My dog is a brown mixed terrier and my cat is half bobcat. My dog’s name is Daisy and my cat’s name is Chiger. They both are girls. Daisy is ten years old and Chiger is five. I got Daisy when I was four and Chiger when I was eight. They are both inside and outside pets. My dog always wants attention and my cat never wants attention.

I have twenty pets! Although mostly fish, that’s still a lot. I have a ferret named Felix, two cats named Dusty and Mama, a guinea pig named Snowball, and a bunch of nameless fish. I admit having a ferret and a guinea pig is kind of like having a snake and a rat, but if we keep them separated, they’re just fine. Felix will try to eat anything small and fluffy. He attacked Mama’s kittens and almost killed one, too! I’m very happy that we got the kitten away from him. I love my pets no matter how strange or evil!
Lizzy Clasby, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

I have one dog and two cats. My dog’s name is Simon and he’s a Yorkie. He’s three years old, but twenty-one in dog years. My cat’s name is Abby and she is two years old. Abby had four kittens when she was three months old. We kept one and her name is Raylee. She is also two. My pets are very important to me.
Brooks Chadwell, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

I have a pet pig. Her name is Riblet. Riblet is very fat and her lags are small too. She is so loud when you pick her up. She buries herself in the hay to stay warm. She drinks a lot of water during the day. She also likes for people to give her grapes.
Chandler Mullins, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

I have a pet named Brownie, a very sweet boxer that has lived with us for three years. Brownie is not the smartest dog in the world by far, but he is a very loving and caring animal. Some days, I like to come home from school, go outside, and just run around and play in the yard with him. Other days, I’d rather just hang out and watch TV with Brownie and relax. He is a very funny dog. He loves to eat and especially sleep. He sleeps almost anywhere, but Mom will always kick him off the couch. Most of the food we don’t eat, he usually cleans up. I love my dog Brownie very much, and I would give the world for him.
Johnny Satterfield, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

I have a dog named Tail. He is a border collie-bird dog mix. He is black and white, and he loves to wag his tail and smile at me. Tail likes the snow and to play with our three other dogs. He is about two and a half feet tall and a little more than three feet long. My dog’s favorite thing to do is sleep with me at night. My dog Tail is my favorite dog.
Abby Grout, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

I have a pet Great Dane named Rufus. He is four feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He is also very lazy. He sleeps 14 hours a day! He knows tricks, too. He can sit, lie down, shake, sit on the couch, and do Yoga. As I mentioned, he is very big, but seems not to know it. He likes to walk up to you and lean against you, which can knock many people down! Most of the time, I really love my big, brown dog.
Latchlon Aldridge, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

My pet is a dog (I don’t know what breed.) It only has one eye. The other one was scratched out by a squirrel. It is going blind in the other eye. My family found it in a box, but I can’t remember where. It looks a little bit like a pig.
Chris Roberts, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

I have a mixed-breed dog, and her name is Tabby. She happens to be a Chua-weenie. She has long black hair with white paws, like her sister. She is about three, and still acts like a puppy. The story of how I got her is a bit long, but the way it happened took little time to occur. In the end we found her at a dump and brought her home when she was only a couple of months old. Now she is a full-grown healthy dog, living with our other four inside dogs, seven outside dogs, two cats, and several other farm animals. Her favorite thing to do is curl up and go to sleep next to me when I come home from school.
Brittany Jarnagin, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brown

Little, cute, and hilarious…these are some things that come to mind when I think about my dog, Rocky. Rocky is a six-year-old poodle with a salt and pepper coat. He has so much fur you can barely see his dark beady eyes. Rocky is very strong for his size. He has a “rope” he brings to me so we can play tug-o-war. I truly love my little doggie, and hope to spend many more years with him.
