Season of Giving

Hello teachers and administrators,

The holidays are here again and I want to share photos and stories of all of the wonderful service projects your students are involved in with a special edition of Sunday Stories on the weekend before Christmas in the Kingsport Times News and Johnson City Press.

You ~ and other teachers in your school (whether NIE teachers or not) ~ are invited to send in photos and brief summaries (300 words or less, please) about holiday service projects your classes/clubs/schools are doing this year. Whether you’ve been busy collecting shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, are hosting a food drive, or have a unique project that you do each year, we want to hear all about it and shine a light on the positive things our students do during this Season of Giving.

Email photos (3-4 maximum) and the brief summary (300 words or less) to me at cmusick@timesnews.net no later than Friday, Dec. 13. If your project concludes or occurs after that time, please send me a note with information so that we can determine a way to incorporate it.
