Many things happened to me this school year. One memorable day was the day we were going on our field trip to the Dixie Stampede. I really enjoyed that field trip because there were many entertaining things there. My favorite part was when a woman jumped through a fire hoop while standing on two horses. There were a lot of fun things to watch. Also there were a lot of things and tricks that people did. I had a lot of fun on that field trip. What is one of your memorable moments?
Graciela Mondragon, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I loved this school year. I also loved a moment that I will remember forever. The one thing I will most likely never forget is when I had the giggles! I could not stop laughing. Everyone, (I’m pretty sure) they were laughing with me, I thought they were laughing at me though. What were some of your most memorable moments of this incredible year?
Isabella Leonard, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Do you have a memorable day that stands out the most? My favorite memorable time is when I went to Quantum Leap for selling cookie dough and here are the reasons. My first reason is that I got to jump on trampolines. My second reason is that there is a foam pit and I jumped in it. My last reason is that there was a rope and you got to swing into the foam pit. That is the reason I will never forget that day.
Izabel Kendrick, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I am going to write about a memorable day. Going to Dixie Stampede. The first day of school. When we were out for snow. I hope you liked my memorable days of school.
Jackson Light, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Ha, ha, ha, I can’t believe that you said that. My most memorable moments mostly involve me getting hurt but they are funny moments. I hope you will like them. I have very similar moments to this one. I fell out of my chair in homeroom and everybody started to laugh. I cried because it hurt real badly. One day I fell off of the monkey bars in first grade and I ended up with a broken arm. The next day fifty people signed my cast, even my first-grade crush. Okay back to this year, I was in the reading nook and I fell off the little bench I was lying on. I also fell on the stairs with an iPad and I somehow shielded the iPad with my back. Those are the most memorable days this year. Thank you.
Jackson Whaley, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

The Dixie Stampede was my favorite day of the year. It was fun there, really fun. My favorite part was when I was a savage and bought a flag and the teachers told me not to buy anything and it was funny. Everybody laughed in my grade and the teachers looked at me in a weird way. The Dixie Stampede was fun. You guys should go there too. Hope you guys enjoyed my prompt.
Jeremy Carignan, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What’s your favorite school memory? Let me tell you mine. I loved it when I started pre-k. I loved it because I met people and made friends. I loved pre-k because it is like a world of fun and can help kids learn and get ready for kindergarten. I love school memories! What about you?
Johanna Barajas, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

We’re writing about a memorable day this school year. One is making friends and playing tag with my friends. Another is when my friends and I are at lunch and we talk about video games. And another is when I played basketball and I hurt my thumb. So that’s my memorable day.
Josh Wilkerson, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My most memorable day this school year was the unfortunate day when I broke my arm at school. How I did that was by playing on the monkey bars. I also had to go to the hospital. The doctors said I broke it in two places, my ulna and my radius. That’s my most memorable day ever.
Kaleigh Demic, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

We have a play tonight. It is going to be the best memorable school day this year. I am a square dancer and a school kid and a singer. The play is the Little House on the Prairie. We have to be there at 5:45 and the play starts at 6:00. That is my memorable school day this year.
Katelynn Hodge, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I think my favorite memorable thing from this school year are the moments when my teachers help me when I need it. Also they help me and I learn what I did wrong. I also think that she is really kind to me because she lets us have chances. My amazing 4th grade teachers will always be memories from 4th grade.
Kenadee Lane, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My favorite part of the school year was when I got to go to the Dixie Stampede. It was awesome! I loved it because it was exciting. I loved to see the animals. There were horses, pigs, and chickens. I even got to pet the horse. I was the South side. I also loved the food. We had chicken, biscuits, veggie soup, and potatoes. And for dessert we had apple fritters. This was the most memorable day of the school year for me.
Khloe Jessee, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Ah, what a good memory. Oh, sorry I was just thinking about the most memorable moment from this school year, the HALL-oween! The HALL-oween was something we did after school in October. We went door to door in the school trick or treating. We got to dress up and the teachers got to dress up in fun costumes too. That was my most memorable day of this school year!
Laura Beth Gibbons, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Ha, ha, ha. That was a good time! I’m remembering the day of my ninth birthday when I had a sleepover. My friends and I played. Only one of my friends, Owen, stayed up all night and all day. We played Terraria (it’s a game like Minecraft if you know what that is) all night. So that was the end of that. I hope you liked listening!
Liam Wilkerson, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What was your memorable day at school? Mine was the Dixie Stampede. It was so cool and it entertained me. The best thing about the Dixie Stampede was the cheese bread, it was so good. This is was my memorable day at school.
Lukeman Malik, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Have you had a favorite moment at your school? My favorite moment at school is when I met one of my favorite teachers Ms. Jeffers. Ms. Jeffers is my teacher, inspiration and friend! I would like to make another memory this school year maybe one in the Kingsport Times News, so make sure to read more articles of the Kingsport Times News!
Mallory Jones, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I am going to tell you the most memorable day I have ever had. My first day of school was my memorable day. I met my teachers. Ms. McGee is my third block. Ms. Reynolds is my first block. Ms. Jeffers is my last block. I don’t have a favorite. That was the best day you can ever have.
Melodey Swiger, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My most memorable moment was at Jackson’s birthday party. We were playing kickball and I was up to kick. I hit it. I was going for first and Parker was in the way. I jumped and almost went all the way over him and kneed his face. I was out but I will remember that forever.
Nathan Arnold, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I love memories of this school year. I’m writing about how we went on a field trip. We got to see how the girl jumped through the ring of fire. Then, on the way back we made big trucks horn. I love field trips.
Nathaniel Swiger, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Every year people have a memorable day of the year. Well I am going to talk about when I went to the trampoline park. The people gave us the rules, then we jumped. We jumped for an hour then it was time to eat. We had a Sprite and pizza. Then we went back to the school. That is my memorable day of the year. What is yours?
Nick Glover, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

This year was awesome! The best day was when we did our play. It was about the little house in the big woods. It is awesome, I loved it! So that was my best day of the year!
Noah Burton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My fourth grade year wasn’t the best but a memorable one. Sitting for 7 hours seems boring but when a conversation starts it can be really funny! One moment happened recently. Everyone laughed for no reason, one classmate asked, “Why are we laughing?” Another moment is going home. All the fresh air once you escape school, I love it! Now you know all my favorite moments of fourth grade.
Olivia Smith, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

That was a good day. My memorable day from this school year is my first A in fourth grade. It was in math, I am pretty sure it was. Though it’s just an A, it is a good feeling. That was amazing to me. My family was proud.
Owen Nieto, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Let’s go north. Oh, I was cheering at the Dixie Stampede that was the best place ever. It was so fun. There was also a pig race too. Then a woman riding two horses jumping through flames. It was awesome. You need to get there.
Parker Senn, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Here is a memorable day I had this school year. A memorable day I had this school year is when I went on a field trip to Dixie Stampede. Even though I had already been and that was my second time, I still loved it. One of my favorite parts was when two horses and a girl riding them jumped through a ring of fire.
Riley Wheeler, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Here is a very memorable day of this school year. When my friends and I played kickball. It was fourth vs. fifth. Fifth was kicking. They kick and we made a wall and I got kicked in the face by the ball but I caught it. Then when we were kicking, fifth made a wall and Jackson kicked the ball and it hit one of the fifth graders below the belt, but it was fair so he kept on running and got a home run! I have a lot more memorable days this year but this was one of my funniest.
Ryan Neal, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

This school year was amazing! But I want to know what the most memorable day was. I’m glad my school has fundraisers. How ever much money you sell you get a prize. One time I sold $50-$100 and I went to Quantum Leap. I went with my three friends. When I first got there I was amazed! I wish I could have gone again. I hope you liked my most memorable day. I hope you have one too!
Samuel Perry, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

“Take your bows.” Sorry, I was busy making memories. Today I will tell you about play practice! This year fourth grade is having a Little House on the Prairie play. So far it has been a blast! In the play I am Christy Kennedy, a dancer, and I am a singer! I practice in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon. I practice with a bunch of my friends like Charley, Olivia, and Ella. It is so fun! I am so excited for our fourth grade play! “A round of applause for The Little House on The Prairie play.” Thank you for listening to my memorable day.
Sydney Roberts, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers
