One of my favorite days of this school year was when we went to Kids in the Creek. I had a lot of fun that day. I would definitely go back and do it again. That is one of my favorite days this year.
Ethan Gordon, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

My first day. On my first day, I was nervous but happy at the same time because I had the chance to see my old friends again.
Emily Nuxoll, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

I have a memorable day that I remember very well. It was when a very funny person switched schools. On that day he was the funniest I have ever heard him to be. I kind of miss him a little bit because he was my friend.
Madison McElyea, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

I remember the day that our school’s heaters stopped working. It was very cold. I think the band room was the coldest. That’s just my luck, that’s my first class. Thank goodness we got sent home.
Alyssa Lewis, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

My most memorable day was when the whole 6th grade went to see a play called The Nutcracker. It was an amazing play. I also got to spend time with my friends and I got to see the facial expressions on the people who hadn’t seen the play before. I would give anything to see it again.
Collier Collins, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

Mine would have to be Veterans Day because you meet a bunch of veterans that served in all different kinds of wars for all.
Luke Cook, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

Kids in the Creek because I caught a fish. This is my most memorable day from this school year.
Mark Gulley, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

The beginning is the most memorable day. When I first walk into school I thought that I was by myself, but when I got some of that Bulldog spirit I knew that this year was going to have its ups and its downs and no matter what, I have someone I could trust.
Tristian Stone, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

One of my memorable days was when I came home from school for spring break and went to my brother’s house up at North Carolina. We went hiking and had a BBQ.
David Miles, 6th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Gibson

One school day that is memorable was when we went outside and played soccer. We were on our way to the field when my friend fell and sprained his ankle! My friends and I made sure he was alright and went and played soccer.
Sean Paul Cope, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

I’ve had a day that was memorable, but it isn’t a happy one. On Wednesday, April 11th, during gym, we went outside to play. While I was running, I fell into a pothole and sprained my ankle. I heard it pop, too! My father checked me out so I could get to the ER. I was relieved to find out it wasn’t broken!
Matthew Fleenor, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My memorable day is when Mrs. Stapleton read The Outsiders. I was amazed at what happened in the story. I love when I hear the teachers read. They have a great voice for the action.
Sarah Middleton, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My most memorable day from this school year is the time we went to Lee High School to see what it’s like. We had so much fun trying out the possibilities for an elective for next year!
Jazmine Stone, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

Memorable days from this school year are the dances we used to have, because they are places where you have fun like hanging out with friends and dancing. All school dances are some of the school activities we all like to enjoy and remember.
Eyan Bradley, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

After everything I’ve done this year there is one thing I will always remember, and that one thing is “Share the Fun.” “Share the Fun” is a talent show we have every year. This year there were more acts than usual. My favorite part is when contestants sing. The reason it’s so amazing to me is because you can hear so many different voices.
Kaley Shupe, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

The most memorable day we have had was when we had the writing SOL. You might ask why and it’s because all the work you did just to be sure you passed. You also had to sit in the lab for about five hours and wait for people to finish. It was a stressful day for everyone, including the teachers. I don’t think there will be another day like it.
Matthew Rogers, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

The most memorable time I’ve had this year would be the time we went to Lee High. When I went to Lee High, all I could think about was Lee High is going to be a part of my future. Seeing all the different things at that school made me wonder about a lot of things. It’s hard telling what’s going to happen when I get to high school, but the trip will always stick with me.
Katie Bear, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

One of the most memorable days from this school year is the first day of school. On the first day back from summer break, I got to see all my friends. It was happy and sad because I realized that some of my friends had moved. But I kept on with the many friends I had left. I was also jumping with joy to meet my new teachers. Some teachers came off as mean, but I soon found that they are the best.
Jesse Jennings, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My memorable day from this school year is the Halloween dance. It was the first dance I went to and I had lots of fun. I remembered that everyone was forming a conga line and I joined in. I wish that the dance was longer because it was the most fun I ever had.
Logan Fleenor, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My most memorable day from middle school is touring Lee High. The reason is because you got to tour the school, meet new people, have a break from classwork, and relieve some stress you have from working on work at school.
Nick Davis, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

A memorable day from this school year is the day of the writing test. There was so much pressure on everyone but it didn’t turn out to be that hard. I really hope I did well on it and made a good grade.
Gavin Lamb, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

The best memorable day from this school year is getting to know Mrs. Brooks. She is a really good teacher and she teaches me a lot. I’m so thankful to have a teacher like her. The day I met her, I will remember for the rest of my life.
Brianna Miles, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My memory from JMS is just going to Mrs. Brooks’ class. I enjoy reading and writing in that class. She teaches us in a fun way to learn. She is the best teacher that any student could ever meet. She tries her best to teach us what we need to know to have success.
Skyler Webb, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

I remember at the Valentine’s Day dance this year that Nick danced with me. He was the only boy that would dance with me. I like him. He is a nice boy.
Jasmine Crawford, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

The most memorable day I’ve had this year is the first day of school. It was an exciting day because it is my last year of middle school. I also met one of my best friends this year. I knew this would be one of the best years of my life.
Olivia Rutherford, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

Most people don’t like the first day of school, but I absolutely love it! That day is just full of excitement. I got to see all my friends and you get to meet your new teachers, and maybe new friends. I don’t know how other people don’t like the first day of school, because it was amazing for me.
Shelby Moore, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

A day I will remember for the rest of my life is the day we held our Veterans Day ceremony. That day is special to me because of the strong friendships I build and the respect that was shown toward the brave men and women who fought for our country. It’s not every day we get to show our veterans how much they really mean to us, and this day we spent recognizing them is dear to me.
Kylee Honeycutt, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

One memorable day from this school year would be when I went to Lee High School. The day we went to Lee High, we toured the school and learned about different classes. Most of the classes were interesting, but very few were classes that I would actually take.
William Scott, 8th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks
