One of my favorite days of this school year was when we went to Kids in the Creek. I had a lot of fun that day. I would definitely go back and do it again. That is one of my favorite days this year.

I’ve had a day that was memorable, but it isn’t a happy one. On Wednesday, April 11th, during gym, we went outside to play. While I was running, I fell into a pothole and sprained my ankle. I heard it pop, too! My father checked me out so I could get to the ER. I was relieved to find out it wasn’t broken!

After everything I’ve done this year there is one thing I will always remember, and that one thing is “Share the Fun.” “Share the Fun” is a talent show we have every year. This year there were more acts than usual. My favorite part is when contestants sing. The reason it’s so amazing to me is because you can hear so many different voices.

The most memorable day we have had was when we had the writing SOL. You might ask why and it’s because all the work you did just to be sure you passed. You also had to sit in the lab for about five hours and wait for people to finish. It was a stressful day for everyone, including the teachers. I don’t think there will be another day like it.

The most memorable time I’ve had this year would be the time we went to Lee High. When I went to Lee High, all I could think about was Lee High is going to be a part of my future. Seeing all the different things at that school made me wonder about a lot of things. It’s hard telling what’s going to happen when I get to high school, but the trip will always stick with me.

It was happy and sad because I realized that some of my friends had moved. But I kept on with the many friends I had left. I was also jumping with joy to meet my new teachers. That day is special to me because of the strong friendships I build and the respect that was shown toward the brave men and women who fought for our country.
