My favorite fall activity is camping. Every year we camp out at my cabin twice a year in summer and in fall. My favorite part about it is seeing my friends and family. I also really like riding in the mule. Swimming in the lake is also really fun, especially when we ride in the mule down to the lake, because we can ride in the back. A mule is like a golf cart so I really like riding in the back. At the end of the night, we sit around the campfire roast marshmallows and tell scary stories. I love camping in the fall.

My favorite fall activity is Halloween. Halloween isn’t just about hanging out with family and friends and how much we appreciate our family and friends. My favorite fall activity was having Thanksgiving dinner. My family and I would go to my Mammaw’s house to play and have dinner. We would always play hide and seek outside and my brother would always be it. My cousin and I would hide beside the garden, and in front of the house. For dinner we’d have turkey, grilled beans, strawberries, guacamole, lasagna, green beans, shrimp, rolls, and mash potatoes. All day we play with the dogs. One dog is named Si, and the other is Max. Si always played fetch and my cousin and I would run while he would chase us. Then we would go upstairs and wrestle, or play on our phones and tablets. Last we would go home and carve pumpkins. It was just normal pumpkin faces. Thanksgiving was fun with my family.

My favorite fall activity is my birthday party. This year I will be 11. Some of my favorite parts are jumping or rolling in leaves, climbing trees seeing my family and friends, and opening presents! Every year my little brother wants to open my presents, but I tell him to open presents on his own birthday. Then after two days of eating I am sure I’ll be full. I can’t wait for my birthday only two months to go!

My favorite activity in fall is the candy challenge. The candy challenge is when get a friend to help everybody get candy. We travel house to house collecting as much candy as possible. We meet back at the same spot, and then we go home. We count the candy to see who got the most candy.

My favorite fall activity is painting pumpkins with my family. Last fall I painted a smiley face. My family and I like to paint pumpkins instead of carving them because they won’t rot as fast. One time we played a game where donuts were in a string and we had to eat them without using our hands. I love my birthday so much, and I can’t what for October 20th to come!
