The dark that is what I am afraid of and here is why. The reason I am afraid of the dark is because who knows what’s in it. I also feel like something is going to jump out at me. I also feel like when you turn off the lights and leave something comes where you turned off the lights. Ughh, the dark sure is scary to me.
Ashton Templeton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I’m the most afraid of my closet and here is why. So I hate my closet because it is so big and it has two doors so someone could push on one door and come out the other side and shoot me and the back of the head. I used to be a scaredy-cat but not any more. I also hate it because it is a closet inside a closet but it’s the most obvious spot in hide and seek. This is why I hate my closet.
Bo Burdine, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My scariest thing is snakes. They are so bumpy. I think they are so big long and wet. But I think they are so fast and slithery but they don’t keep us running from one.
Cameron White, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I’m afraid of druggies and kidnappers. They are scary. Some people call them crack heads. They have scary faces and it makes them do bad things. Kidnappers can kidnap you and you will never be seen again. That’s why I’m afraid of that.
Christian Young, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I get freaked out by this doll my mom has, and his name is Robert. You can find him anywhere. He can be under the covers or on top of the dresser. He just sits and stares. He has this smile that really creeps me out. He has hard eyes that makes you feel like he’s watching you. He can really scare you. That’s why that doll freaks me out.
Connor Bennett, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

If I was scared of something it will be a spider or a lion. Some spiders are scary and some are not but I’m most scared of the lycosidae spider because they look very scary and has venom fangs. I’m scared of a lion because they have really sharp teeth and their teeth are really big and there claws. I’m scared of both of them because they are both dangerous and can kill me. If I was scared of something it will be scary.
Danny Tran, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My worst fear is SHARKS. I would never swim in the Mississippi River. Bull sharks swim throughout the Mississippi River all the way up to Illinois. Hammerhead can take down 5 times its size! Luckily there are only 3 species of sharks that like human flesh. So my worst fear is sharks, but what about you?
Dante Lubecke, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I am afraid of being outside alone because I always think someone will come and take me from my house. I would never want that to happen. And when I am outside I get really sad and lonely. Also there is a really big space around me. I live at the woods and I’m afraid there is something that’s going to eat me. That is why I am scared to be outside alone.
Emma Lawson, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I am afraid of Gollum from Lord of the Rings. The reason I am afraid is because he looks creepy. He also bites someone’s finger off. He is also on the dark side. He also will trick you. He looks wrinkly. He also has sharp teeth. That’s why I am afraid of Gollum.
Fletcher Henritze, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

There’s one thing I’m scared of, bees! I’ve never gotten stung before. I’m afraid of anything that stings, like a yellow jacket. Why I’m afraid? Because they sting you and chase you. And that’s what I’m afraid of.
Gili Moratalla, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

The thing I am so, so, so, so, so scared of is clowns. I mean they have the longest finger nails. There laugh makes me think of kids dying. Their hair is all over the place. Their bloody mouth filled with people that they have eaten. Ones at my Fourth of July party and my BFF was watching It when I saw the clown. I died but came back to life when I turned It off. If a clown was in my house do you think I am going to stay there, nope I’m moving to Japan. Konnichiwa.
Gracie Stiltner, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I’m most afraid of snakes. I’m afraid of them because they have fangs and can bite me. They also fell slimy and gross. I eventually got over my fear of snakes. That is what I’m most afraid of.

Hailey Blevins, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What are you most scared I am most scared of being left home alone. I am scared of being left at home because someone might break in. And some kidnapper could break in though my window when I am asleep. I am scared of many things but this the most because someone could possibly kill me. So what are you afraid of?
Hayden MacIver, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I am scared of clowns. I hate clowns. If saw one I would be punching it in the face! Some clowns kidnapped kids. I even saw a video of a kid getting chased by a clown with a knife. Lastly, they are creepy and I hate clowns
Hayden Musick, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My biggest fear is black snakes. Some black snakes are poisonous and they can make you swell up. They can kill you, but it depends what kind of black snake. Also some snakes can spit venom up to 12-19 mph. Pretty scary, right? Black snakes are quick and smart. They can also spit venom up to 20 feet. That is why I am scared of black snakes.
Isaac McGee, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I have multiple fears, but I’m only going to tell you about one. That fear is heights. You don’t know how scary it is until your scared of it. One time I was scared of a drop tower. I still went on it. It was not a good idea. You could see the whole theme park! My dad said, “When it drops count to three, and then it will drop.” When it dropped I couldn’t close my mouth. If you are too high you could break your leg! Do you see why I’m afraid of heights? That’s what it’s like having a fear of heights.
Jack Litton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I have a fear of clowns. Do not say clowns to me, do not. If you do I will go crazy. I hate clowns, I do not like them.

I’m not scared of much but I am scared of failure. I hate not winning but I do win a lot! I also hate losing because sometimes I don’t get the best trophy or prize. I hate it the most because people don’t think I’m the best. Failure is just one of the few things I’m afraid of.
Kale Creech, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What I am afraid of is spiders. Well, some spiders. They are weird looking, gross, and feel crunchy. Plus they have eight legs.
Kyleigh Mitchell, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My fears are stingrays, Santa, and I’m afraid of heights. They make me scream sometimes or they make me twitch sometimes to. My first fear. Stingrays. When I was at the beach in Mexico. I saw a lot of stingray. That was not good for me. My second fear. Santa. This one makes me twitch. You know this guy. He’s Saint Nick. He’s been to my house many times. But I’m still happy he still comes to my house. My third fear. I’m afraid of heights. I’ve been on planes and other things. When I’m on a plane I’m not really afraid of heights. These fears are bad but they can be good too. The end
Lane Shaffer, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I’m really afraid of Wolf Spiders. I saw one in my backyard, and I was so scared that it was going to jump on me. Wolf Spiders are so big so that’s another reason why I hate them. They also move very quickly. Wolf Spiders can bite you, and it will hurt for a few days. I really hate Wolf Spiders, and I hope I never see one again.
Lily Egbert, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What are you afraid of? I’m afraid of snakes. I don’t like snakes because they are evil and slimy. Another reason is because some are poisonous. Sorry to all the snake lovers but I hate snakes.
Maddie Lester, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What are you afraid of? I’m afraid of bees. Mostly because I have a fear of any insect but I’m afraid of bees the most. My mom thinks I’m ridiculous. The first time I got stung was when I was at my friend’s house. She and I were playing a game and then I want to sit down and a bee flew right on my arm and stung me. I know bees don’t sting badly to grownups most of the time but it did not hurt at all. The reason why I’m afraid of bees was the second time I got stung. I was outside playing with my cousin we were goofing around and I remember what I said to her and I was like 5 when this happened but I still remember what I said. I said, “Watch out there are yellow jackets up here.” when I was walking up something was zooming around and my mom spotted it and I got stung at least 6 time at the most. I’m still afraid of bees until this very day.
Madison Seay, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I am afraid of bugs they creep me out also they have beady eyes and when they get on you they pock or scratch you and stung some bugs are poisonous also insects like bees, hornets, wasps, flies, and yellow jackets others are arachnids like ticks or spiders there also slimy bugs like snails or slugs yuck and if there slime gets on you it’s hard to get off and many can fly that means they can get anywhere and they can buzz in your ear. Even though I hate bugs I know the importance of them.
Noah Gilliam, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

My worst fear is the beach, why though? Because I always feel like I might drown or some dangerous fish or a shark will hurt me. Not a good fear because if you’re on a vacation, and you go to a beach, you’ll only want to stay on land and watch people have fun! Also I’m not a good swimmer so I can’t just go in the ocean and not worry what might happen! But I love to swim so going to a beach would be amazing but my fear will take over me and I’ll act like I wimp, so I only go to pools and stay in the four feet part of it! It’s a bummer, but I know one day, just one day I will get over it! Well, hopefully!
Olivia Fraley, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Does the fear your of drowning ever cross your mind? Well it does mine. Every time I’m at the beach I get a fear of drowning. Water can be really dangerous if you are still little or you do not know how to swim. If you are still little it is good to take swim lessons. So when you get older you cannot be left out and you can swim with your friends and family. When I was one I was outside by my pool in the snow and I dropped my pacifier in the pool and I went in after my pacifier. The bad thing about it was it was winter. My Nene did a super hero move and went after me. Then she ran me into the bathroom and turned the hot water on as fast as she could. I bet she was freezing but she just worried about me. Then my three year old brother was playing near the pool then I bet you know what happened. He fell in then my Nene did that super hero move but he was lucky that he fell in during summer when the pool was warm. That is why you should never be by the pool without an adult!
