I am looking forward to sleeping late and the warm temperatures. Every summer, usually, I go to bed at 12 pm and wake up at 11 am. I’m also looking forward to spending more time with my cat Mimi because usually when school is happening, when I get home I don’t have much time with her.

This summer I am looking forward to my birthday. It is on June 22nd. It is 2 months away. We put up decorations at my house. Mommy goes out and buys my cake when I’m not home. I eat my cake first, then open presents. I like to share my cake and toys with my brother and sister.

I don’t really do many things special during summer. But this summer is going to be special, at least for me. I’m going to be turning 12 this summer on May 30th. I’m excited because I’m going to be having a pool party like usual, but this time after the pool party, I’m going to have a sleepover. I’ve never had a sleepover at my house before and the reason I’m allowed to have a sleepover this year is because my mom said I have been more responsible. This is the reason I’m excited for summer this year.
