This is what we should do on Earth Day and every day. We should pick up trash or just not litter. Also we should plant things. Plant trees and flowers. Last, stop cutting down trees and destroying habitats. If we keep cutting down trees we lose oxygen. I don’t know about you but that’s what I think we should do on Earth Day and every day!
Aaron Blair, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Our Earth is very special. There is nothing like it. That’s why we should take care of it. Here are some ways we can take care of it. We can reuse store bags. Have you ever been to a store that gives you plastic bags? Well you should keep them and reuse them. When you cut down a tree plant one more. Don’t litter. It hurts the Earth.
Addy Mounger, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Do you like Earth Day? Earth Day is fun. Do you recycle? Recycling is good for the Earth. And don’t forget cutting trees down is bad for animals and you. Recycling is good and don’t cut trees down and throw away your trash. Now we just have to stop cutting trees down and throw away trash.
Aiden Ford, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Here is what I would change about Earth on Earth Day! I would put more signs that say no throwing your recycling stuff on Earth. We could recycle bags and tins and reuse your trash. Don’t cut down trees. We need them, they give you oxygen. That’s what I would I would do to help my planet.
Anneliese Vanhuss, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Earth Day is coming up and I want to do something to make the Earth a better place. First I’ll plant 5 trees because they help us breathe. Then I’ll try to form a group and plant daisies, sunflowers, and roses because they are beautiful and can help the Earth in ways that I don’t understand yet. Then I’ll ride my bike somewhere because cars cause pollution. Why don’t you think of some ways to help the Earth?
Ashlynn Willis, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

How do you take care of our planet? I will always recycle. Also I will clean up ponds. I will even plant a tree or two. What do you do to save our planet? This is what I will never ever stop doing!
Ava Elliott, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Hey! Really don’t litter. We have to keep the Earth clean. Plus it makes more work for me. Hi, there. I’m trying to keep the Earth clean. I hate when people litter because it’s not healthy. If you like animals don’t litter because it could kill them. Don’t litter at all. Hope you do not litter.
Baker Correll, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Have you ever had someone come to your school to teach your school things about Earth Day? I have. She teaches my class how to keep the Earth from being polluted and how to “Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse”. Here are my tips on how to keep the Earth healthy and clean. Tip one: Don’t ever pollute! Animals can’t live anywhere if their homes have trash in them. Tip two: Stop cutting down trees! If you cut down trees, the Earth can’t provide oxygen. We need oxygen to breathe. Tip three: Pick up trash! We don’t want the Earth to be filthy and dirty, we want what is best for us. What is best for us is a clean and healthy Earth to live on. Keeping the Earth clean every day, always keeps the doctor away!
Bethany Linkous, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Mother Nature is nice! But why do we pollute her territory? Here are some ways we can clean Mother Nature’s garden! Reduce, reuse, and recycle! The three commandments! Think of another way to make paper! Trees are important because they keep us breathing. Help community service! You can help by picking up cans, paper, and water bottles! We can help Mother Nature. Reduce, reuse, and recycle!
Bronson Lovato, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Earth Day is coming up soon. What are some ways we can help our planet? Well, if we see trash lying around, we can pick it up. When people litter the wind can blow it. If the wind blows it to a source of water, fish and sea creatures can eat the garbage! That’s called pollution if it lands in water. Knocking down trees is also hurting the environment. How can we help this? If we don’t grow new trees soon forests will shrink and animals can lose their habitats. We really do need trees. They help us breathe. If we grow them then not many animals would become extinct, and all living things would have air! We can reuse, reduce, or recycle to also keep our planet healthy. That’s how we can save our planet.
Casey Rutley, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

April 22 is the day to save the world. It’s called Earth Day. Some things we can do is clean garbage, like throw away trash and recycle and reuse things. Another thing we can do is wash our hands and cover our nose when we sneeze and also don’t pollute. Another thing we can do is don’t cut down trees and instead, plant trees. You do this because it gives you oxygen. This is what we can do on Earth Day and any other day.
Cash Taylor, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Hello! I would like to share some of my ideas. After all Earth Day is on April 22nd. We have to take care of our planet and our community!
Chloe Greene, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

You can save the Earth just go to www.savetheearth.com. No this is not an ad for the newspaper but I am going to tell you some ways to save the world or help it in some ways. The first way is recycle, reduce, and reuse, or the three r’s. I inspire you to listen to these r’s. The next step to helping our Earth is to pick up trash. This can be done many ways like picking up trash up from the highway, beach, or even the playground. The last thing I want you to do to help the Earth is encourage people not to litter, as well as not to cut down trees. You never know. We might run out of oxygen one day and I don’t want to go that far. Well thanks for reading my N.I.E for this week. Hope you enjoy the rest of the stories you hear!
Colton Burgett, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

April 22 is Earth Day. This is a day for Earth. We celebrate cleaning our not so clean world. The Earth is important because there is only one. Recycling is Earth’s saving grace. If we didn’t we’d be in trouble. Why do we treat the world like this? It’s not right. So be smart … recycle and pick up your trash. Just take care of this place we call home.
Ella Wilson, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

On April 22nd it’ll be Save the Earth Day! It’s about protecting our Earth and ways to help it. Recycle, you could recycle plastic bottles or paper. Reuse, you can also reuse things such as water bottles and plastic bags. Finally, you could help clean the Earth. You could go to a park, beach, or even your community! I hope you try to help the Earth and not just on Earth Day!
Ella Yankee, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Do you like Earth Day? Well, I like it so come with me to see three ways we can take care of our community. One way we can take care of our community is by growing trees for air. Another way to help our community is by recycling plastic or paper. Another way is by throwing away thrash and to stop littering. Well, I hope you enjoyed and remember to stop littering.
Emma Bentley, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Do you know how to recycle, reduce, and reuse? This is how we recycle. There are recycling plants everywhere but you do not have to do that. You can do lots of things like using a cardboard box and a used blanket to make a cat bed. This is how you reduce. You can also reduce. Now here is a way to reuse by using the back of a used piece of paper. These are some ways to help are planet. Happy Earth Day!
Flynn Bottcher, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

There are many ways we can help Earth. Here are some of them. One way is that there can be a group of people picking up trash in different places. Another way is that when someone is done drinking water, they can put the plastic bottle in the recycle bin and not the trash can. Finally, the last way we can help Earth is by planting trees and flowers because people are cutting a lot of trees. So, the next time you see a plastic bottle on the floor, put it in the recycle bin.
Graciela Mondragon, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I, Haley Leann Lowery, am going to help take care of the Earth. I’m going to pick up any trash I see. I’m going to encourage people not to litter. I’m going to encourage people not to throw trash in the water. We can all help the Earth if we work together.
Haley Lowery, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Earth Day is near! Here are some ways to keep the Earth clean. One (shout out to Eastman) don’t produce as much smoke please! Two, try not to litter. Come on and together we can save the Earth!
Isabella Leonard, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What ways do you think we can take care of our planet? Here are ways we can take care of our planet on Earth Day and every day. My first way is to pick up trash on the ground. My second way is don’t pollute. My last way is don’t cut down trees. They help us breathe. Those are some ways you can take care of the Earth.
Izabel Kendrick, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Yay, it’s Earth Day let’s celebrate. I love Earth Day, do you? I hope you don’t litter. Once my dad littered and I did not care. Honestly, I don’t care if you litter. I just want to be published.
Jackson Whaley, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

We need the Earth. If we don’t put our trash in a trash bag, we put it in the lake. So, don’t put the trash in the lakes.
Jayden Maracle, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Earth Day is work. You have to pick up trash, which is called littering, which is also bad. I love Earth Day. It is fun to pick up trash. I love to take good care of our planet. Earth Day is so great, fun, and joyful. I love it so much, but it is bad when people litter. I love Earth Day, it is good to take care of our planet. Hope you enjoyed my prompt.
Jeremy Carignan, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What can you do to take care of Earth every day? Here are my ideas! No more littering! Ride a bike, walk, run, jog, or play. You can also plant flowers and no more smoking! That’s how you take care of Earth every day.
Johanna Barajas, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I was just picking up trash up off the ground. The first thing that you can do to help is stop cutting down trees. And you can help plant trees. Also you can recycle paper and reuse. So do you want to help trees and Earth?
Josh Wilkerson, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Here are some ways you can help our lovely Earth. You can stop littering and throwing trash. You could stop cutting down trees and use less wood for chairs. And pick up trash and recycle. That’s how you can help our Earth.
Kaleigh Demic, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

I’m going to tell you how to take care of Earth. You can recycle and reuse. You can pick up trash instead of throwing it outside. Don’t cut down trees unless you plant a new one there.
Katelynn Hodge, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Let’s talk about ways to talk care of our planet. First, I would tell people to recycle, reduce, and reuse. Second, I would tell people to stop cutting down trees because trees help you breathe. Next, I would love for people to stop littering because it makes Earth look nasty. I think you should do this on Earth Day and every day.
Kenadee Lane, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

“Mom, can we do community service this year for Earth Day?” I said. “Maybe,” my mom said. One way we could help the Earth is community service. And to encourage other people to help with the community service. Another way to help is to not litter. If we litter, we are destroying animals’ homes. Another way to help is to use less paper and if you do need paper, put another tree to replace that tree. And you are giving us more and more air to breathe. These are some ways we can help the Earth. Will you join and help the Earth?
Khloe Jessee, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers
