A special birthday memory for me is when my mom and sister took me to Disney on Ice. I was around 8 years old and my sister said she was going to take me somewhere. The whole way there I asked where we were going, but she wouldn’t tell me. When we got there, I was so surprised. I remember that there was Ariel, Rapunzel, Aurora, and a few more. I’m not really into Disney anymore, but back then I loved it. After it was over I knew I would never forget it.

A special birthday memory for me is when my mom and dad bought me my first Xbox 360. It is not the gift that is so special, it is the prank they pulled on me. The prank was they left the Xbox hidden somewhere and got a huge box and put nothing in it. I’ll get them back someday.

A special birthday memory for me was my tenth birthday. I was in Florida and all of my friends and one of my best friends were there. He and I hung out. We spent the whole day together. After the party we lay outside on the top of my truck; we were looking at the stars. He then handed me one last gift. It was a necklace, and he had one too. That was the last time I saw him. Even we don’t see each other, I still treasure that birthday.

My special birthday memory is when I was six. For your birthday, have you ever asked for a dog, or cat, or some animal? I did. I wanted a horse, but what I got I didn’t know what it’d be. I’d told my dad and on my birthday we went to an animal shelter. My dad took me around the back of the shelter and there was a goat. Yep, I got a goat instead and since that day, I’ve never asked for another animal for my birthday.
Sierra Woodard, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

For my 11th birthday I had a sleepover at my house. We ate the cake. There was one part absolutely nobody liked, so we just threw it around at each other. Then later we went upstairs and Jace flipped over one of the couches. Luckily, it’s still in good shape. Finally, we all went to bed. Then later, everyone went into one bedroom and we stayed up another hour.
