My favorite birthday memory is coming home from school and my family singing Happy Birthday while I blew out the candles. Then they gave me presents like clothes and shoes. Then we ate the cake. So that is my favorite memory.

My favorite birthday memory is when I got home from school because I had an after school thing. My aunt picked me up and dropped me off at the house and said she was going to work. I walked to the door and went in. I told my aunt I was tired and I was going to take a nap. I fell asleep and when I woke up an air horn was blowing in my face and it was my uncle telling me to get up and follow him. I was still half asleep so I didn’t know what was going on. So I got in there and everyone was there. It was surprising because I thought they forgot, but they didn’t and I’m so happy to have them as my family.
Alexus Stuart, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

A few years ago for my birthday, I went to a Tennessee basketball game. The boys played the Celtics at home. In the end they won, 97 to 81. It was a great game and I loved being with my family.

Last year for my birthday, my family, my friends and I went to McDonald’s to eat and then went to the movies. We watched Star Wars the Last Jedi. This is special because that was one of the last times I saw my friends. That’s why it is my special birthday memory.

My favorite memory on my birthday was when my mom took me out to eat and got me presents on my birthday too. And my other favorite memory was when I got to see my sister for the first time and being able to spend time with her and my family. I also got a new phone. I guess that could be a memory too. I got to have my birthday at Just Jump last year. That could be a memory too. I had a lot of fun. Also on my birthday I got to see one of my friends that I hadn’t seen in a while.

My favorite memory would have to be going to Florida. When I went to Florida on my birthday I saw a lot of my family. We also stayed in a hotel right in front of the beach. My cousins and I went to the beach almost every day. I wish I could go to Florida and stay every day. I have more memories but that was my favorite one.
Audrey Perry, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

I remember one of my birthdays, I got four boxes of doughnuts from Blackbird Bakery and then went to the movies to see Fallout, which was amazing. Let’s just say the doughnuts didn’t last for a day, sadly. The present I got was a cloud storage thing so I could get more games and still have space.
Billy Parker, 7th, Holston Valley Middle, Mrs. Taylor

When I was 5 we went swimming in the creek. Along with that, we caught fish in the deep part of it. Finally we went and played basketball in the field. That was my 5th birthday party and the first at my house.

A special birthday memory I’ve had was on my 10th birthday party. I had got to go with my best friend Ella. We had gotten to watch Hotel Transylvania 2. I was in Las Vegas at the time, and we had gone to 7-11 to get Slurpees. We had so much fun at the movies and getting Slurpees. I have missed her so much since I moved to Bristol, Tennessee.

My favorite memory is going to the movies. Every year on my birthday I get to choose what movie I want to see. They usually let me get how many refills I want even though I don’t get any because it is expensive for popcorn and a drink. Usually my whole family comes too. I hope you enjoyed my favorite birthday memory.
