Do you know what immigration is? Well, that’s what I will be telling you today. Immigration is somebody that is in a country but wants to move to another country by boat. Whenever we were learning about immigration we learned about push and pull factors. A push is something that pushes you out of a country, like there’s a lot of floods in your country. A pull is like something that pulls you and makes you want to go to another country. That is my favorite thing we studied in the school year.
Haley Floyd, 2nd, Rock Springs Elementary, Dr. Adler

Knock, knock. Who’s there? Choose. Choose who? Choose me to tell my favorite thing of the year. Did you like my joke? Keep reading and it’ll be fun. The favorite thing of the year was when my teacher read a “choose your own adventure” book. Here’s an example: You’re hunting for treasure. You go to the woods. You find a black castle. You go inside. You see two doors, purple and green. You get to choose. If you chose green you found treasure. If you chose purple the black dragon came! And that’s my favorite thing of the year.
Jubal Jilton, 2nd, Rock Springs Elementary, Dr. Adler

This school year, my favorite time was when we went Easter egg hunting. The eggs had math facts that we had to match. They were kind of easy, but kind of hard. It was fun, but when I got one someone took it. It was sad, but not really sad. But it was still fun.
Kiersten Voight, 2nd, Rock Springs Elementary, Dr. Adler
