I am going to tell you the three things I would put in a time capsule and why I would put them in a time capsule. One thing I would put in a time capsule is a basketball because they might have hover basketballs then. The second thing I would put in a time capsule is a flower because it might be extinct then. The third thing I would put in a time capsule is the Tennessee symbol because it would probably be different then. Now you know why I would put those three things in a time capsule.
Piper Adams, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What would you put in a time capsule? It was cool, right? Well how about this, I’ll tell you what I’ll put. Then, you email me or do your Facebook thing. And, yes I know what an email is. The first thing is a Barbie doll. The next thing is a watch. The third thing is a picture of a car. These are what I would put in a time capsule.
Reese Hoover, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

What is a time capsule? Well that’s easy. Its things in a box or a container that you put stuff in from now and in the future people may find it and look what’s inside and see what’s the difference from now to then. What I would put in a time capsule is a phone, a toy, and a smart board. I choose all these things because it’s fun to see what changed. I choose a phone because they are definitely going to change and we can see how they change. A toy because they’re going to have new toys at some point. The last of all of them the smart board. A smart board because I really want to see how smart boards change. If they get bigger or smaller like phones. Do they get bigger or smaller? Also with toys they’re probably going to make new electronic toys. Those are three things I would put in a time capsule.
Sammi Culhane, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

If I could put anything in a time capsule, they would be pretty old in 25 years. RC boats are fun to drive, but not fun to lose. RC cars are nice to drive, but hard to lose. Kayaks are clean transportation, but move at grandma walking speeds. I think that we should put electronics in the time capsule, but I think not. That is what I would put in a time capsule, and if I get the chance to put these items in a time capsule, this what I think about them.
Ryan Lick, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

Hey! Can I tell you what I would put in a time capsule? First, I would put two photos in it one of my mom’s KIA Soul and the other of my school. Second, I would put my published NIE and my science activity book in it too. Last, but not least, I would put my LOL doll collection in it. You might be wondering,” Where in the world is she going to hide this time capsule?” Well, I’m going to hide it in my backyard. Well, that is what I would put in a time capsule of my own. What about you?
Sarah Hilton, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

The year 3016 some kids are playing in the park, and are digging in the ground and they find a time capsule! The kids look inside. The kids find a book called “Dork Diaries.” They wonder what it is about, they see a picture of my bed. One of them says, “Why is it not floating?” Then they see a picture of the American Flag. “What is that?” Another says they see the camera that was used to take the pictures. “Is that a… camera?” a girl says. They look at the stuff for a while then they ask their mom and dads. The parents get flashbacks then they send them to bed, but instead they do some research for a couple hours. The kids were so astonished by the items in the capsule. What is to come in the future?
Shaelagh Durland, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers

These are the things I would put in a time capsule. One thing is a squishy, I love squishies because they are so soft and slow rising. The next thing is a picture of a trampoline, what? They may not have trampolines in the future, you never know. The last thing is an apron, just because when I look back at the old aprons they are not like the ones today. So, these are the things I would put in a time capsule, what about you?
Yazmina Good, 4th, Miller Perry Elementary, Ms. Jeffers
