I have a lot things I did this summer, but I’m only going tell you three.  My favorite thing I did this summer was start football.  I play for the Packers, and we lost 2 games, tied 1 game, and won 1 game, 20 to 0.  I also went to the Aquatic Center which was very crowded and it rained.  The third thing was when I watched the Solar Eclipse.  It looked weird, but it was cool.  That`s everything I did this summer.
Dominic Bowey, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite thing I did this summer was go on a cruise.  I liked the cruise because my baseball team was on it with me.  Another reason I liked the cruise was because I met some new friends.  My favorite thing about the cruise was when we got to the Bahamas and went swimming.  I love summer!

My favorite activity this summer was going to North Topsail Beach, NC.  The reason we went there was because my older sister’s boyfriend is in the Marines at Camp Lejeune. One place we went to was Bear Island.  Then I went to a sea turtle hospital and learned about them, and learned how dangerous trash is to them.  Before we went home, we went to Chuck E. Cheese’s.  My vacation was really fun.
Luke Depriest, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

This summer my favorite event was when I went to the beach.  At the beach we met our close friends.  We all get along great.  What I love most is that my family and I get to have some time to spend with each other.  We love to play in the water and sand.  What was your favorite summer event??????
Asia Marshall, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was going to the beach.  At the beach we went swimming in the ocean and played in the sand.  We also went shopping and got floats for the ocean.  This is what I did this summer.  I love the beach!

My favorite activity this summer was going to Myrtle Beach.  One of the things we did was play in the ocean; we boogie boarded, and we made sand castles.  My Mamaw, Mom, Aunt, cousin, brother, and sister came.  Luckily I was allowed to bring a friend, her name is Kami.  I had so much fun this summer, and I hope you did too!
Anna Shepard, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was going to the Kentucky Horse Park for BreyerFest.  BreyerFest is a festival where you buy Breyer horses. Every year they have special runs, a celebration model, and a theme!  You get to meet all kinds of horses.  BreyerFest is the best place to go especially for horse lovers!
Meisha Ball, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite thing about summer is being able to sleep in.  It’s my favorite because I can sleep and I don’t have to worry about my brother. The other thing is I can be left alone.  The last thing is time flies by.
Brenton, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite thing about the summer is the solar eclipse. Where I live, the moon did not fully cover the sun.  It didn’t fully cover the sun where I live.  It looked like a toe nail clipping.  I loved this summer.
Kendra Jackson, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My Favorite activity this summer was going to Dollywood.  At Dollywood, my mom, my dad, sister and I, rode the River Rampage.  The first time we rode it we got a little wet.  Then we rode the Dare Devil Falls, which has a 60 foot drop!  We got completely soaked.  It was so fun, we did it again!  To me the drop is kind of scary because first, you go up hill which is really high up.  The worst part is you’re not strapped in or anything!  After that we went to the Fire Chaser, then we headed back to the River Rampage and rode it again.  Sadly, we had to head back home because I had football practice and every one was tired.  We had so much fun!  Going to Dollywood was my favorite activity this summer!

My favorite activity that I did this summer was going to the beach.  I went to Atlantic Beach in Florida.  We went to go see my family in Florida, but while we were there we decided to go to the beach.  It was so much fun.  My brother and I went about knee deep in the ocean, right where the waves started to form.  The best part was when the waves started to knock you down.  I had a lot of fun.  What was your favorite activity you did this summer?
Justine Elliott, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite activity was going to Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina this this summer.  Why?  Because I got to be able to spend time with my family.  Spending time with your family is great because you don’t have forever with them.  I got to go to Broadway at the beach, it’s a good place to go listen to music and shop.  We went putt-putting too!  I’m very happy I got to spend the week with my grandfather who died three days after coming back from the beach.  I loved Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina!
Gracie Bright, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was going to Michigan.  It was really fun because my two cousins were there from Nevada.  While we were there we tried pasties for the first time and they were delicious!  We stayed at my Grandpas cabin beside a lake, but one thing they forgot to tell me was the leeches.  I was swimming and got out and there was something on my foot.  I tried to pull it off and couldn’t.  I started yelling for my dad and he had to come over there and scrape it off with his nail.  Other than the leeches Michigan was amazing!  I cannot wait to go again next summer.
Leah Gagaliardi, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

I love summertime because I get to do so many fun things.  I get to swim with my friends, have sleepovers, and go on vacation.  My favorite summer activity, though, going to 4-H camp.  I always make new friends and make so many memories.  I took fun classes and played a lot.  Going to 4-H camp was my favorite, I just wish it didn’t go by so fast.
Madeline Perry, 6, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

One of my favorite activities that I did is play football.  In football you meet new people.  Some people are mean and some people are nice.  Some of my friends play football too: Logan, Zach, Tyler, David, and Gavin.  Another thing is tackling, tackling is really fun, and it makes me have more confidence. Football is the best sport I’ve played all summer.
Mario Atkins, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite thing that happened this summer is that we went to Virginia Beach.  It was my favorite because it was the first time I’ve ever been to the ocean.  We had to drive 8 hours to get there, but it was worth it!  We had to stay in the top floor on a ten story hotel.  It was super scary but it had a balcony that looked out to the ocean.  It was so beautiful. My sister and I have never been to the ocean, so she was scared and I was super excited.  When we got in it was super warm.  A few minutes later I felt something pinch me and when I looked there was a tiny baby hermit crab sticking its tiny, little, claw at me trying to pinch me. It was so cute!  We went back to our hotel room and we stayed for two days.  Then we woke up really early and went home.  I missed the beach but it was good to be home.

My favorite activity this summer was going water tubing.  It was fun.  We swam in the lake and we saw snakes.  The mini waterfalls were cool, we went down them.  After that we ate at Pizza Hut.  And then we went home.  That was my favorite activity this summer, what was yours?
Christian McKee, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was going on a cruise.  On my cruise I went to the Grand Turk and the Bahamas.  The ship was fun as well, it had shows, movies, and live music. The Bahamas and Grand Turk both had beautiful beaches.  Going on a cruise was my favorite summer event!

My favorite activity this summer was going to Dave & Busters.  Dave & Busters is one of the biggest arcade franchises in the world!  My dad and I had the same favorite game there, it was called Harpoon Lagoon.  In the end we had over 2,000 tickets!  All in all I think I had the best vacation ever.
Logan Sanders, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite activity this summer was to play video games.  The games that I played were Wolfenstein the New Order, Friday the 13th, and Dark Souls 3.  My favorite was and still is Dark Souls 3.  Playing games was my favorite thing to do this summer.

My favorite activity this summer was going on vacation with my friend Bella.  My mom was starting a new job and wanted to go on vacation before she started.  We decided to go to Dollywood, Delaware, and Chincoteague Island.  My parents let me take a friend so I took Bella.  My family, Bella, and I had lots of fun riding almost all the rides at Dollywood.  In Delaware, we hung out with family and went shopping.  In Chincoteague, we went to the beach, went swimming, and went shopping.  It was probably one of the best vacations I’ve ever had!
Naomi Castle, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was going to Georgia.  I went fishing with my uncle.  My grandpa made Mexican food.  I went fishing with my grandpa.  Going to Georgia was my favorite event this summer
Leland Garcia, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was the beach.  I went to Myrtle Beach Travel Park Campground.  It had a lot of fun things to do there.  It had the beach, 2 pools, an arcade, a lake, and 2 little restaurants.  At night we would go out to eat and shop, then we would go back to the campground and either crab hunt or play beach volleyball.  One day there was a pool party and that was really fun.  I love summer and the beach, but I am excited for the school year too.
Olivia Smith, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite activity this summer was going to Florida.  One thing we did there was go to Disney World.  Disney World was really fun, especially the fireworks at the end!  Another activity we did was go to St. Petersburg Beach for the day.  We also visited family we hadn’t seen in a while.  I enjoyed Florida a lot, and I hope to go back soon!
Abby Hill, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite event this summer was going to the lake.  I love going to the lake to swim and play with my cousins.  I also love going to the lake to get on the boats and jet-ski. Also I like going to the lake because it is so chilling.  I had fun this summer but I wish that it wouldn’t have went so fast.
Kayla Guy, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite activity in summer is to hang out with my best friend Anna.  Anna and I usually have sleepovers a lot and on those sleepover we either go to the pool or the mall.  I also love having spa day with Anna.  I love hanging with Anna in the summer!

My favorite activity this summer was going to Cozumel, Mexico.  The thing that I really liked at Cozumel was going to Punta Sur.  When I went scuba diving I saw plenty of colorful fish.  I also saw a spotted moray eel and puffer fish.  Punta Sur is the southernmost point on the island.  There I saw crocodiles.  Going to Cozumel was my favorite thing I did this summer.
Matthew Hamilton, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite activity this summer was going to Oregon.  I got to see my family.  And I went to the beach with my family.  I met a friend out in Oregon.  When I got back from Oregon I got a dog named Randy.

My favorite activity this summer was going to Wilderness at the Smokies.  Going to the Wilderness was my favorite because I went with my family.  My mom and dad let us pick between Splash Country and Wilderness.  I’m glad we picked Wilderness because we had never been before.  I had so much fun this summer, and I’m sad to see it go.
Aybree Brandt, 6th, Weber City Elementary, Mrs. Sanders

My favorite activity this summer was being with my friends.  I went to Holston View during the summer.  We went on field trips like Natural Tunnel to go swimming, parks, and the movies.  Although, I liked hanging out with my best friend.  That’s not the only reason I liked going to Holston View.  The other reason I liked it was because of the teachers.  They are funny and awesome.  I had such a great summer, and I’m sad to see it end.
