The most fun thing I’ve done this week is go to my friend’s house. I went to church and rode home with her. We went in the house and watched Netflix while her mom made pizza. When the pizza was done, we ate two pieces and went outside on her trampoline for a while. I found a water bottle that was almost full and threw it to her in the trampoline. She threw it out on her drive way and it busted and went everywhere. We laughed for 30 minutes straight. We went back inside and watched a move called Hush. My mom came and picked me up after that.

Last week I was playing with my nephew Cayson. He has this toy that has a bunch of tiny balls that bounce around I would roll it all over the room and he would get it. We also watched Paw Patrol on television. This was by far my most fun time of week.

Over the weekend, Saturday morning, my brother and I went to my mammaw and papaw’s. We went to a cookout. It was really boring until they started playing music and games. The best part was the food. Oh my goodness. It was so good, except the part when I got a stomachache, but other than that it was great.
Emily Kirk, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

The most fun thing I did this week was when one of my friends and I went to a sit down and eat place, Roosters Pub. It’s not that much of a restaurant, but they have flat screen TVs everywhere so you can sit down and watch one of the football games.

The most fun thing I did was play with my cousins on the railroad track. We climbed the rocks on the side of the railroad tracks. We tried to balance ourselves on the rails. We threw rocks to balance ourselves on the rails. We threw rocks at the rails and tried to make sparks. We rode our bikes down the tracks.

I went to the aquarium with my friend. We had a blast! There were many different types of fish. The scariest part was when we went in a glass tunnel in the shark tank. It was my favorite part of the week because of the colorful fish and the thrilling sharks. I had a lot of fun. I can’t wait until I go again.
Alyssa Lewis, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

My friends and I spent time together over the weekend. We went into the woods, we climbed trees, found some old keys, and we found an old graveyard. Then we walked up and down my road talking. That night we had a contest to see who could come up with the best scary story. I beat them. We slept outside under the stars. The stories got to us. We ran inside after we heard something touching the tent. We found out it was only a tree branch. I can’t wait until the next time they come up. Maybe next time it won’t be a tree branch, but a monster. I’ll just have to wait and see.
Shirley Washburn, 7th, Jonesville Middle, Mrs. Brooks

The most fun thing I have done this week was hang out with my family and friends. I love hanging out with family that I don’t get to see a lot. Like my mom, stepdad, and my little brother. They usually come down on the weekends or when my stepdad doesn’t have to work. I love my family.

Something fun I’ve done this week is go to my best friend’s house. She has a really big and crazy family, so you’re never bored. Willow, my best friend, does gymnastics so she has tons of fun gymnastics equipment around her house that we played on all the time.

A few weeks ago me and my family went to Indiana for a wedding. We all stayed in a cabin on a farm called Wistlem Walnut. Half of the cabin was built in the 1700s and the other half was built in the 1900s .It was fun staying in the cabin because I got to experience how people lived in the old days. All of my family would gather up in the old living room and eat popcorn and watch movies and talk. It was amazing! After the wedding, we packed up and was heading home, but on our way home we went to a theme park called Holiday World. It had four different holidays – Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, and Halloween. We rode all kinds of rides. We rode the bumper cars, Liberty Launch and other rides. The scariest were the Thunder Bird and The Voyage. They were the fastest rides there. They were both a mile and they were done in a few seconds but it was amazing. I loved it.

The most fun things I did this week/weekend are playing video games with my cousin, and calling him ugly most of it and him calling me an idiot for killing him in most of our games, or just messing up. Another, almost getting excited because I thought we were going to Texas, but weren’t. Hanging out with my boyfriend, Gunner, earlier today, talking about just random stuff, like “Want to hear my rap song?,” I said. “Sure,” then I started singing the ABCs. It was pretty fun, in my opinion. Last thing, playing with one of my best friends who lives in Canada.
