What I am most looking forward to on Christmas break is my Elf on the Shelf, Misty. Elves on the Shelves are little toys dressed up like elves and are supposed to watch you and report back to Santa about how you’ve acted and when you wake up in the morning your elf is always in a different place. Sometimes your elf will get into trouble like roasting tiny marsh mellows or toilet-papering your Christmas tree. My elf always gets into mischief and I can’t wait to see what she will will do next!

The thing I’m looking forward to the most during Christmas break is Christmas Day. I love waking up to open presents with my family. I also enjoy the thrill and excitement I get before I open presents. After I open my presents from my mom and dad at home, we go to my aunt’s house and I get to see my dad’s side of the family. When we’re at my aunt’s house we eat a huge feast and then open presents. I can’t wait for Christmas!

We all were filled with ham, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. It was time to open gifts and mine were wrapped in snowmen wrapping paper. We opened wrapping paper and laughed. This was my favorite holiday memory!
