The cookies, the hot cocoa, and the holiday cheer! When my family and I would go outside to play in the snow, throw snowballs, sled, make angel-looking figures in the snow. When we all gather around the Christmas tree to open our presents. We would go down to my mamaw’s house to eat and open presents also, but my mom and dad would tell me that Christmas isn’t about all the presents, food, snow angels, it was about Jesus Christ and about when he was born. He was born to die for all our sins. That’s what I’m looking forward to.

I’m looking forward to spending time with my family. Every Christmas my family and I do a big dinner. Everyone comes. You can bring gifts also and put them under the Christmas tree. After we eat, we all play a game. The kids go first, the adults hand the kids their gifts. Then they open it and trade. Then the adults go, each person gets a number out of a hat. Whoever gets number one grabs a present then they show their present to everyone. The next person goes and either they get the one person’s present or get a new one. That’s what I’m looking forward to this holiday break.
