I’m going to tell you about how I celebrate Independence Day. First, we fill the pool up with water. We invite my Nana and Poppy to the party and we grill some hamburgers. We get our swimming suits on and Natalie and I swim in the pool. We hang the flags on the fence. Last but not least we do about 20 fireworks. That is what we do on Independence Day.

Well my family celebrates Independence Day by going to Fancher’s campground which is at Douglas Lake. We cookout and we sometimes go on a boat at sunset. We go swimming and there’s usually a golf cart parade that I participate in. We watch fireworks over the lake and then we go back to the camper and hangout. Then we say goodbye to the people that are there and we leave after that. Sometimes we spend the night. That’s what we do for Independence Day.

Hi, my name is Autumn Smith. My family celebrates Independence Day by shooting off fireworks at my church. Last year’s Independence Day, we shot off fireworks at my neighbor’s house. Independence Day is all about being with your family and enjoying your day to spend with your family my uncle’s birthday is on Independence Day. We all celebrate with fireworks and cake, of course. This year’s Fourth of July I spend the night with my cousin Tanika. The next morning we went to Kingsport and watched fireworks. My Aunt Mary got lost. She was just a road away from us. My Aunt Mary and the boys got there at the finals. We all laughed, even my Aunt Michelle. We girls got to see all the fireworks. I said, “ha, ha boys.”
